I disagree. This contest brought out one thing that you can't put a number on: People from all the XS areas coming together to work on one project.
Add to that the "retired" from benching people that got involved and you start to see my point.
It's not all about the points, it's about the community.

IF and thats a big IF, you could get all of XS to work one of the DC apps for one week you'd shut down any server that exists.
I still maintain that the computational power that exists on XS is greater than most mid sized nations and would love to see it all work together even if only for a day.
You numbers people out there think on this:
Imagine everything that exists here working one project for one day.
Those would be numbers to barg on for years to come.:D
Do it for a week and make a statement to every site that exists how much power is at XS..

Wow that new update to HWBot is going to heavily skew the points away from XS. The entire top 10 teams will get all jumbled around and I think it'll skew the results towards newer hardware making old hardware once again obsolete. Hope this doesn't occur before Feb 14th otherwise it will probably screw up all our results..

I just saw this thread. I don't suppose there is any way to get 50 points in time to qualify though. :(

OK above 30 points now... But I still need 19 more! Can't run 3dmark on those old systems I've gotten most of my points from either, I don't have any 3d graphics cable video cards in them :(

almost the same here. i can't get no points for any 3d benchies. its hard cause you can run any pci-e card on a qx6700 and of course its gona pwn my single core 3800+.. so i got all the points for my cpu's..

I cant get any points... 3dmark seems to be worthless for points. And its hard to get many points for anything else because SO MANY people have a 6600. IM tempted to bench 3d with an old PCI vid card, OC and run the hell out of Pcmark and Wprime... 47 more points in 3 days isnt going to happen for me im sure...

Submitted my 06 score of 5939 on my rig, hit 6133 moving my GPU up to 703 core/1003 mem

If only I had been home this weekend I could have benched an older A64 2800+ with a gforce 3 in it, maybe my brother's barton 2500+ but I got the flu and wasn't able to do that. Bummer.
