I what propose we find an other program or to modify this in better for security of the result on SuperPi
because enough to modify the quartz of the generator of clock of mainboard for false the time a total, the superpi he calculates the count from just a millions with the system clock of the mainboard….;)
enough to have a simplest Tweak for false the result.....:D

for this I propose To found the tread "Find an other SuperPi" :D :D

At 4G with 10*400, ram@600 = 12.395s for me
I get 12.000 at 4176MHz ; it's possible to break a sub 11s at 4556MHz (11*414 ram@621) and 9.999 at 5011MHz (12*417 ram@626) :)

With regards to the PLL mods, i don't believe they have been used here.

STEvil is entirely correct, used in the propper way they are entirely legitimate and are quite skillfull. The unfortunate thing is that anyone who knows how to use them correctly would also know how to cheat with them.

Just his 1M frequency and 28GP score

He uses a Digital Camera for its 32M, why he doesnt use that for its 1M

Guys this wrong..this all has been handled very wrong.
I´ve been here since forever even though I haven´t been posting that much. Mostly reading and learning...posting some results every now and then. Up until now I have felt that XS membar and staff has always treated each other with great respect and friendship. But this has all fallen in the last couple of days...with all this accusations about fakeing and abnormal scores. This should have been handled much more descreete...things like this can make huge amount of damage to people even if it turns out OPB and coolaler aren´t fakeing. Doesn´t matter if it turns out they have legit scores...most of you guys will still have doubt about them. Vendors, suppliers and maufacturers will surly be doubtful sending them samples.

I´m not taking any sides..not defending anyone....and I can honost to god say that I understand the need for an explanation and proof.Because thoose numbers sure look a little "off"

However...you guys should have contacted OPB or coolaler quitley in the first place...and lay out all the facts and simply just asked them.
Give them a chance to explain, if they had refused or ignored you then mabey going public would have been right.
But i doubt that they would have been unwilling to coorporate, simply because they have to much to loose.

The facts you have gathered is enough to make an investigation...but nowhere near enought to go public and humiliate someone this way.

As I said before...I don´t defending anyone...if this really is fake scores or abnormal scores in any way then OPB and coolaler should be banned from the community...but this has all been handeld is wrong.

I just sincearly hope they will come forward and give an explanation. And most of all I hope there hasn´t been to much damage done..if they come true.

When our CPU goes up, ram frequencies on the other hand can't go any higher so we ONLY gain from CPU's frequency/bandwidth/latency at higher frequencies....
IF we could upper ram's frequency with Cpu's frequency TOGETHER, the scores and the linearity whould be almost the same as of the lower frequencies.......By this I mean we whould have had a 25000 bandwidth and below 25ns Latency.....;)

ONE question though.......The guys - in general - with the good times in Super-Pi and High frequencies (above 5GHz), at what frequencies they had run 3D benchmarks?......DON'T tell me that they benched Super-Pi at 5400MHz and 3D at 5000MHz coz there is NO way.....A guy that Super-Pi's at 5400MHz, IS CAPABLE of 3D at 5300MHz AT LEAST not to say more.....;)

When you say 3D stable you mean 2001SE single tests or a full run of 2005 or 2006 or so?
Me and ojdr2001 with our old CPU that did Pi 1M at 5132Mhzs were having a hard time running 3D mark above 4950Mhzs, our new CPU does Pi 1M at 5400Mhzs but still no 3D tests.

Btw this thread is worthless without OPB and/or coolaler posting. I know you guys got good arguments but we need to give them a chance to explain their results and I don't doubt or believe them but as someone said before they could have found a tweak like RickY found the multiprocessor sometime ago, anyway if there's a tweak like that I need it :P Can't get lower than 9.44seconds at 5385Mhzs :S

PS - Don't mix OCX and XS fight in this thread please, nothing to do with this topic (and it's a kinda stupid fight....)

Obvious reasons for that. Try for yourself to pour ln2, pick up the camera, take several pictures, and keep track on everything else at the same time in those 9 seconds.

Imo, there is way too much flaming in here, and many people are just showing what complete idiots they are. There is noone that gains anything that way.

There is nothing more that can be said in here before we get a response from OPB.

I was fighting over a months time back in the 2002/3 to prove I benched and worked my ram at 250MHz in Australian forums......I had a LOT of attacks there (Australians must remember it) but I was keeping and keeping giving evidence till someone done it too and then someone else and so on.....:)

Exactly.... this silence on their part looks very bad.

Look what happend to "Lance Armstrong" after his "Tour DeFrance" wins... he was publicly denounced as cheating/drug use... but he didn't hide, he defended himself and was cleared.
