Note that becuase it is DDR its 2 times the ram frequency. So if you were running 200 FSB x 2 = 400 Mhz you would take 400x2 for the effecetive speed. Im pretty sure I am right on this stuff, someone correct me if I am wrong.

So I got tired of the stupid overheating from my Presler 950D. So I lapped it along with my Big Typhoon and added a fresh coat of Shin Etsu thermal compound.
Here are the changes:
PD 950 @ 3.4 Ghz 200x17 stock settings
Before lapping + New Thermal Compound
Idle:54C
Full load: 76C
After Lapping + New Thermal Compound
Idle: 37C
Full load: 45C
I still gotta wire manage, which will probably improve temps even more. Lapping is definatly worth it!
Anyway I now have a different problem with my board. Even though I can make it pretty easily to 4.5 Ghz - 5.2 Ghz + on my PD950 the board needs massive amounts of voltages to stablize at those clocks. To do 4.5 Ghz it took me 1.53Vcore, 2.4 mem Voltage and 1.7 vmch. Is this normal or what? My Intel D955XBK never needed such high voltages to be stable at 4.5 Ghz.
Because i don't have any monitoring temp...i use Core Temp

My average temp is from 37 - 40C
using vcore at 1.4 and vdimm 2.2

I dunno if i can push more with current timing memory....my timing is 4-4-4-8. I can reach FSB 425 with 4-4-4-8 but not stable...
Maybe if i loose timing a little, i can push more...
Well either way that is a pretty good overclock. So everything is for the most part glitch free in terms of the Bios showing correct information? I hope so as my MSI 975X/E6300 will be here next WED.

Ok, so I just got this keyboard but the keyboard port is messed up.
the computer boots up and gives me a error saying keyboard not connected. I can't get into bios / boot into windows.
I have a USB keyboard but I can't enable it in the bios :P
Is there a jumper or something that enables usb devices by default on the msi board?

Honestly all I need out of this board would be a FSB of 425. With my E6400 that would put me at 3.4 which is exactly what I want it to run at for a 24/7 machine. The ability to do more then that is just icing on the cake for me.
4n70n I might have missed this but what RAM are you running and what did you decide to set your "FSB & Memory Clock Ratio" at? I'm interested in the performance of your RAM.
