So I'm wondering if the 4mb cache models have the same deep overclocking abilities as the E6300 and E6400?Quote:

Personally I think the E6400 is a great match for this motherboard but I want to see the performance difference the extra L2 cache gives on the E6600.

gogogo, Lets see the new OCs using the new bios. Where did you get the new bios?
I just bought a DS3 and a Celeron for $201 to keep me entertained until conroe gets here. I wouldn't be able to live until August 8th with this AMD 1500+
one thing for sure. F3a BIOS improve memory overclocking ability. Before i just can pass PI 16M @ DDR2-1032 3-4-4 with Team Xtreem DDR2-667 2GB kit 2.1v. But now i can pass PI 32M easily. Same setting off course.

not.... 516 - 1032 @ 3-4-4- with 667 memory ? im doubtful... that would potentally beat the gskill 6400 stuff and thats only 2x 512meg sticks.
seems,,, odd...
whats your max FSB ......
Is it true the DS3 cannot give more than 2.0V for the Memory?
I've got OCZ Plats that need 2.1V just to work.

Hicookie is having problems with his DQ6, plus this board can hit 500+ fsb and the DQ6 doesnt offer anything else apart from the usual fancy stuff like extra sata and some nice heatpipe cooling then its not worth the money imoQuote:

And you get to 1032MHz with only 2.1v!

This is crazy!
anyone have DQ6 and DS4 ?? I have E5 BIOS version for DQ6 and D5 version for DS4. Just PM me.
Try that on an other board, you'll see it's impossible.Quote:

This is just frequency, not performance.
maybe you're right....i need new memset support i965 to make sure about this.Quote:

I remember VictorWang achieved 1120MHz 3-3-3-8 with 2.7v
Intel D975XBX mod
Team DDR2_667 1g*2, very small but strong D9s
vdimm=2.7v @.@
