I'm 95% sure it's the RAM holding this back. It's taking 2.1V just to do 880 @ stock timings. Question is should I drop some cash on new RAM or sell the proc and get an E6400? Keep in mind it's doing 3.08Ghz at 1.3185v.

To Dani : why :( week 24 ?
Mine is a week 24 as well and s doing good:)
I do not honestly believe in all those "theories " that OEM clock worse than retail and I ve not seen
any particular " better or worse " week of production so far
Actually I dont know, what I have seen so newer batch (week) lower Vcore to OC..Quote:

I ve got VMCH 1.6V , I guess it depends... what s you cooling setup like ?
I can't seem to get my E6600 stable at 3.4Ghz. It's stable at 3.2Ghz with 1.35v and 1.50MCH, and seems stable at 3.3Ghz with 1.38v vcore and 1.55MCH but it fails Orthos in a few seconds at 3.4Ghz and 1.40v v-core. Sometimes I'm not even able to enter the BIOS to change something after a failed stability test unless I downclock it a bit in Windows.
Any suggestions?

What do you guys meen with Dual Pi 32M.
Is there another version of super pi /mod 1.5 XS out? or just run 2x of Super PI mod1.5 XS?
for dual super pi
Copy the .exe into two executables and open both
Go to task manager and set the affinities so that one instance pertains to Core0 and the other to Core1
Run them simultaneously.
