Well we should be OK for a Friday Delivery from OcUK for the oem 6300's.
I have 1 on order at OcUK and one a order at Dabs for 6300, 6600 & PW5 DH. Already got a DS4 so play time on Friday hopefully.
I think Gibbo is really trying his best to get us our processors. I know he's come under alot of flak on the boards which are my native home

I ma sorry that there has been a delay completing the order, I have checked with our purchasing department and they have told me the CPU is due to be delivered to us sometime within the next 7 days. Unfortunately at the moment they do not have an exact due date. As soon as they get one the website should be updated.
We were not open Sunday to sell any of these CPU's.

Overclockers have confirmed that they'll be getting OEM E6700s tomorrow! Over my budget though :(

they do - a years warranty from wherever you bought it from.
OEMs are meant to be sold with hardware normally, i.e in a Dell PC so its them that provide the support - not intel. i believe its one of the reasons why they are cheaper as obviously intel dont have any responsibility once its sold to the reseller
I think its because they're for OEM companies (Dell, HP) Who provide their own warranty so there is no need for Intel to provide warranty on OEM chips.Quote:

Same here panda boy :( Time to cancel from there methinks especially as Novatech said to me the E6600 will arrive within the next 7 days!

Komplett told me these dates for my e6400, 27/07/06, 31/07/06, 8/08/06 and finally 21/08/06. Gave it up as a bad job in the end and went am2 x2 for now as I was decent pc-less due to selling my 930 d in anticipation.........one day conroe will be mine.............muwhahaha :slobber:
Confirm Email for my 6300 from OcUK for delivery tommorrow. Still awaiting my 6600 from Dabs who have dropped the price again.
Be aware that any pre orders with dabs dont automatically get the price reduction you need to add it to existing order and delete the old item. I find that a bit crap tbh. Play automaticaaly gives you the lowest price but caps price rises.
Expensive compared to the 180+vat 6600. If they had been 250+vat I would have bought one.Quote:

I've always said OcUK are thieves. Then they use their crappy forums to promote their goods and boast we will have first stock. Who cares about first stock if it will only be a day or two that they'll have stock over anyone else.
They are thieves, plain and simple.
I think its the distributors who are charging high prices for any core 2 duo cpu. That's why the OEM 6700 are high, I think OcUK had to buy them at retail costs to them.
Scan and Chilliblast have them listed at exactly the same price as OcUK anyway so if you want to call them theive because of this then you have to call all those other guys theives as well. Although on the whole I'd still agree. They have repeated lied to everyone about availabilty and half those suckers on the forums get taken in by it all.
