BTW: Waus, add coolaler =)
there is a risk that clockgen has the same problem. (source: franck)
The reason is the following : the FSB is computed from a clock named vc0, divided by a coefficient.
In this case, it is :
vc0 = 800
coeff = 4
FSB = vc0/coeff = 200MHz.
Now, vc0 can only go up to 1280. That means, with the coeff 4, 1280/4 = 320MHz, this is the max FSB.
To raise the FSB, it should be necessary to change the coeff, for example to 3. But I can't do that on the fly, there is a risk it freezes.
so 320x13 would mean 4160mhz.
so any fix avalible for it :?Quote:

Gamer thank you for running the dual pi bench's. Would anyone out there that is ocing be willing to do a 3gig single and then dual bench?
Thanks
Tim
So the ES is multiplier locked?
If remote control does not have fsb limit then there shouldn't be a problem :)
And if it does we need to mod it :D
:D great minds think alikeQuote:

Still nowhere to buy in U.S. Dumo hinted that it would be on Newegg this weekend, but still no appearance :(
has anyone tried a lower multiplier / higher fsb? Lets see what Yonah can do on 333 FSB like Conroe :p
AFAIK, Tarosa is benching with DICE.
Sorry, no details as am not in Japan to get more inf from him;)
Wonder what vcore he uses, I strongly doubt its 3.x...
And if any hardmods done...

cpu.... man.. i dont get it :( had ln2 ready for this day ..
Just spoke with the store, they have not heard anything from AOpen today...
Hmm, my advice, the CEO @ AOpen should put a gun to his head and pull the trigger...
- This is probaly the worst thing they can do to their already bad reputation... Giving false information...
- Now I have to pick another product for my exam, due to false hopes.. - But hell, its only the most important exam in 3 years..? (weights the same as danish A + math A)

Yeap.......UP that damn PCI-E.......:D

yes... just like me
tomarrow i get an answer for this!
or if tarosa can give an answer sooner
Waus and Cookie, are you guys using SATA HD's?
Tarosa's specs say he is using an IDE U-100....
915p all over again :cool:
My bet is a bogus pci-e setting, try IDE!
