It will be fun, if Opp og some japanese SuperPI bencher will join the Pifast.
3Dmark2001 and 3Dmark03 is more related to fast gfx and don't need the fastest computer. SuperPi is only in sekunds, and its difficult to compair in detail..
Hope Pifast soon will be upgraded many have made new results.

Hello Tom - And congrats.
Let´s get the competition running again. It seems that you have scared them all away ;)
Where are you guy´s?

Yes, I agree with this point strongly...
So I've just downloaded PiFast benchmark-kit from Hexus.
I'll try it in next time:p:

U optimize ur OS for superpi?
Example : I get 42s at 3080MHz with a 2.4C (256*12), P4C800 and Win2003 and the fastest timings
here that's 41s for the best time
http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~yok/P4-3G-GP/P4-3G-GP-TABLE.htm
y can explain to me what is ur secret? :smileysex
Littlebit offtopic but bias_hjorth , I checked your sig, when are you finished with 32s. in SuperPi 1M;)
I got 33s. now, Im going to push my NF7-S v2.0 and Barton to the limit...here we come 32s. on nForce2 mobo:D ...someday:D
Sorry everyone :(
Did not notice but the Pifast is a bit borked at the mo....
Not had any submission fall into the database since April 1st
Hexus have recently upgrade there server/s and it seems to
have locked the database.
I think those entering submissions will have noticed 3 or so lines
of error code flash up on there screens but nobody mentioned
until i stumbled accross it when logging into the email store.
Not to worry ;) Currently running through a big in-box of emails
that carry the details so there not lost or anything, just mean's
i have a lot of reading to do :( hopefully I'll get them before nights
out got most of them out the way.
not looked to see if I can sort this end yet concentrating on the
backlog of submissions but If I cannot I need to get intouch with
David@Hexus and i think he's on hols for moving house.
So please bare with me.. esp since the error causes 3 emails to be sent for each submission.
Thx
Paul.

Erm... Problem Number 2

I have access and get uploaded.
Sorry again folks :(

Don't fool Japanese & SuperPI lovers, cpulloverclock;)
> U optimize ur OS for superpi?

Yes, a bit, and There is SuperPI meisters who have higher
skill than me in Japan.

P4-3G-GP is obsolete. Mr. tanuki holds Pentium4-36-GP now.
Basically, SuperPI English version is slightly faster than
Japanese version, so Mr. tanuki arranges "Japanese version
only" regulation.
> y can explain to me what is ur secret?
--
Once I explain it, it will be not a secret;)
Apparently, my optimization skill in P4-3G-GP era had been
lower, and now I have effective scheme for SuperPI.
So I wonder that same scheme is effective for PiFast...
na pifast is just drop the latency on everything and max out the clocks :)
You can run ay realtime priority as well of course to gain a few tenths ;)Quote:

PS Love the thought of English Superpi being faster than Japanese so only Japanese has to be used ..wonder who discovered that ? That's what i call doing anything to optimise !
heres some air cooling in a hot room I will get 250 1:1 on this sk8v yet with max timings :)
http://jason57.iwarp.com/case/pi242.JPG
I thought it was just the opposite :DQuote:

In my 8M 2.4A tests I got just the same time w/ both versions.
Maybe the American English is faster than the English English macci .. you know how everything is bigger and better on the left side of the pond :)Quote:

Thank you for your comment, macci!!!
Well, I re-check my Prescott system, and confirmed your results:eek:
In WinXP, 838man=7m51s, and 8M=7m51s.
In Server2003, 838man=7m43s and 8M=7m44s!!!
I'm very surprised at this results and my conclusion is,
"It depends on CPU type."
Indeed, Pen4XE(Gallatin) and Athlon system give another
results, i.e. English version is slightly faster than Japanese
version, as I mentioned formerly.
For example, Pen4XE gives 838man=7m42s and 8M=7m34s
in my system(IC7 with Server2003).
Anyway, I appreciate you for giving chance of re-checking
these phenomena, macci;)
Im coming for #1 TOM H.

thanks CodeRed. Yeah this is a killer chip what Is so cool is if you look up the page I have been at 245mhz 1:1 so when i run 242x12.5x tommorow that 11mhz on the fsb will be enough to drop my score into hopefully #2 ahead of JC :)
also a vcore mod and a cooler ambeit shouldn't hurt either :)
Looking good Paul:D
tom ya get your fx53 yet M8?? i want to see some 3300mhz clock from ya :)

Finaly made it to 256mhz 1:1 fella's scored an unreal 48.13s in pifast 2.41 at 256x9.5=2433mhz so this new board + ram is better than the first by far :)
I need to get some good 256x12=3080mhz runs in soon I dont know if I can touch TOM H. :), but I should be able to pass the rest :)
