badger if you will...
I won't get no where near a badger, mean and vicous doesn't even cover their attitudes............

nah, he keeps in buried in his backyard under several feet of asphalt .................and other things:rofl:
Can we use purple for 7M? Pleeeeeeeese!!!

I've changed my avatar in preparation for the big 6M in cubbie blue. Whoo hooo!!!
Must have been my 3rd rig I added to the bunch, I knew those AXPs overclocked had a lot of guts to them
I may be moving another rig over here in the near future, since I got the FAH SMP client going on fold8 now.
wish I could replace these darn things with a couple quads, one for for WCG, one for FAH

This is the second time today Ive had to call you a dirty old man. :shakes:
;) :D
I didn't need to know that Dave...............
Can I wear those over my Depends?
...and continuing the trend of disturbing TMI we have Twilyth!
RR don't you think showing him an S&M smilie is going to encourage him too much?
The thread where that nice young kid was asking advice on his family's new network topology and you said to make sure he deleted all his :banana::banana::banana: first?
Like it matters; we all know you are old, dirty and a man so...
No CUBBIE BLUE! :D
Oh ya ok 7M is purple. Easy to get ahead of ourselves :D
nah, wasn't me i was sleeping at the time of the quake and it was too mild...............
Listen my friend, a 5.8 is what he gets when his stomach just gurgles..
Feed him a scrambled egg and bean breakfast and that one from what was it? 1989, would be close, but just close.
They made a TV movie about his last faux pas.. It was called "10.5"...:p:
You know all the debate on what killed off the dinosaurs?
nope.. It was him..
Siberia, early 20th century..Nope, not a close call from a comet but him again.
The man is dangerous I tell you..
Even in the Bible.
We were all told that Moses parted the Red Sea.
Nope, old Moses just grabbed fart_Plume, spun him around and said: "Let 'er rip"..
Ah so that was that smell. Worse than a tremor I tell you.
I feel insulted,hmpppt, ..................10.5 my ass more like 20.7:rofl:
I figure you to be more on the scale of that caldera thats simmering underneath Yellowstone..
When that sucker goes the habitable part of the US will be the size of Staten Island..
We'll have two states left if we're lucky: Hawaii and maybe New York
Off topic: I got 112 gallons of heating oil delivered today:
$502.54
And they didn't even offer to use any KY when they handed me the bill..
if yellowstone goes you can blame the wife, she's far more danerous than I...................and she laughs manicially,Muhahahahaha
come on Dave, YOU posted that pic in here (wcg section) borrowed from someone else and it was this year http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...1&d=1200957743
Alzheimer's kicking in?
LOL nice dragon...there might be a Dave meds fund before long :D
Though the old man is right about Yellowstone. We are overdue for another major eruption based on geologic history. As if high prices and terrorism weren't enough to worry about :( :D
Quote:
Yellowstone, like the Hawaiʻi hotspot, is believed to lie on top of one of the planet's few dozen hotspots where light, hot, molten mantle rock rises towards the surface. The Yellowstone hotspot has a long history. Over the past 17 million years or so, successive eruptions have flooded lava over wide stretches of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Idaho, forming a string of comparatively flat calderas linked like beads, as the North American plate moves across the stationary hotspot.
Currently, volcanic activity is exhibited only via numerous geothermal vents scattered throughout the region, including the famous Old Faithful Geyser, but within the past two million years, it has undergone three extremely large explosive eruptions, up to 2,500 times the size of the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. The three eruptions happened 2.1 million years ago, 1.3 million years ago, and the most recent such eruption produced the Lava Creek Tuff 640,000 years ago and spread a layer of volcanic ash over most of the North American continent.
Dave,
Does your oil heat your domestic H2O?
There's a proposal to use that caldera in Yellowstone as a source for geothermal energy. Could power a HUGE number of homes cheap and clean IF the project can get off the ground, or into it as the case may be.
We now have blue numbers Xtreme Systems 6,015,373 :clap:
Whoo Hooo - SMOKIN' :hump::hump::hump::party::party::YIPPIE::YIPPIE:
Oh hell yeah :bravo:
Now if we can get to purple
way to go all, very nice to see
Nice!
Mmm pretty Cubbie blue :D
Sheesh, it's a shame you folks don't run a project I'm up for
Rest of the dc community is so boring these days.
Oh well. off home to talk to myself :p:
Keep up the nice numbers
Not everybody insists on only running the absolute newest projects and stuff the rest, Vaio.
Meh, seems you misunderstood the intent of my post.
It wasn't a project comment but rather a dc forum comment.
I was making the point of how active the dc threads here are.
Nevermind
Oh and for the record.........4 of the projects at WCG are newer than poem so the sleight is misguided
Sheesh........Dave misunderstands me too..
I was saying the forum is active.........so many others are practically silent (including my own).
Quick on topic question........Is the U.D client now completely retired?
Nah, it's cool.. Vaio's passion is POEM and that's a very worthwhile project.
I'll :cord: him for spamming the WCG section..
I should also add that it was Adywebb and Vaio that helped me on that attempt at the million point day last October.. Good people, I asked and the response was:" I'm there"..
Yup. Dead and gone. WCG will also sometime later this year, be dividing all credit to align with the BOINC system. ie ALL credit /7. The numbers will drop, though proportionally they will be the same, effectively removing all trace of the old client even in the scores.
Final WCG smap of the night then cos Mr Whiplash is watching.
LoonyM.....I have my own reasons for not running some stuff, though that's unimportant.
I put a couple dozen cpu years in on cancer research and Folding so I did a lil bit.
Besides, I see all these projects as inter-related anyway.....the findings from one may well have applications in another.
I was just making a general point about the forum and it's good/high activity.
But it feels kinda uncomfortable posting in a teams forum when not a member of that team.
That's all.
Anyway, Dave's looking keen with that whip and I got work in 6 hours so a good time to run.
See ya
lot of misunderstanding goin on.
i know this, vaio is alright.
but that, true, that wasn't a real clear post.
my take on it was that vaio is running something else, that is his personal preference. but what he was also saying was that is real nice to see a fairly active DC forum; lots of forums slow down during these "dog days of summer", including his "own", his home base...
I'm fortunate to be part of a team of very active participants.... and I was just busting his balls, sorry vaio, it's all good :D
I'd be more active if Dave let me out of this gimp suit more...
