Hi,1707 here ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/so...20DH%20Deluxe/ no idea what it might fix. It may well be the same as the unofficial 1705...

i havnt checked this thread out in quite awhile but i was wondering if there have been any good bios's released as im stuck @ 3.42Ghz with 1.48 Vcore on my E6600 havnt primed @ that setting either just ran benchmarks
i have a rock solid 3060Mhz 1.36 Vcore but would like to get higher clocks to run benchmarks and such
so any decent bios's (possible one that unlocks the multi down like the P5B does?)
Cheers
Anyone have the problem where your system hangs when entering the BIOS flash utility ? I'm on 1602 BIOS and the system is not overclocked.
Don't use the Bios Flash Utility!!! BE aware!!!!
Folks, I need some help in here. I'm trying to get 3.2GHz stable to use on a day by day basis but to get this I need 1,475v. Isn't that too much?

vFSB, MCH and ICH at minimum, PCI-e = 100, PCI = 33.33 and Performance Mode = Turbo.
At least my memories are good. Their running 890 @ 4-4-4-13 with 2,15v :toast:
Looks good Viper.Br... Vcore is no problem...
I get the best results with vMCH at 1.55V up to 430MHz fsb.
@ 1.60V I can reach 440MHz, but not more
(rest of the settings are the same as yours)
MCX159cu on the northbridge...
Keep your ram 1:1 to find the highest cpu-OC...
How do you get fsb like that?Quote:

Nothing special... (bought the motherboard on the 15th of august, so it's an early revision) bios is 1707 atm.Quote:

Send me your e-mail-address in pm, will take some pictures from bios tonight (not at home atm). Will 400MHz do? (24/7 folding setting) or would you like to see the bencheable edge???
From Asus website ...
P5W DH Deluxe BIOS 1707
Support Intel SpeedStep in Vista
Update JMicron option rom to 1.06.63
Support new CPUs. Please refer to our website at: http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx
Hi, it only hangs if you have a HDD connected that is using NTFS. This is not supported, simply disconnect the HDD cable and you'll have access to FAT32, CD drives, etc.Quote:

Cheers.
I'm sure it's worked ok on previous BIOS revisions with NTFS formatted HDD connected.
Anyway I can update the BIOS using a DOS floppy or from Windows.
