anybody running 3.8GHZ stable with their Q6600 GO on this board?
I did so, and found out that they are integrated in the latest turbo memory drivers. Is that correct? I´ve searched Intel's homepage without any success in finding a seperate 7.8.0.1013 release...
EDIT: And well it seems like 7.8.0.1012 is the latest drivers :) Case solved.
Man I haven't been able to POST past 400 FSB since day one....regardless of multiplier. I'm running 400*9 right now and it's rock solid stable. I'd like to go 3.9 or 3.9 because I can definitely do it with my current temps and VCore.
Just letting you guys know that the SLIC BIOS posted up on mydigitallife doesn't actually add the SLIC Table data properly. Only XSDT and RSDT seem to be showing up, SLIC is missing.
I flashed back to 0701 for the time being :p:
I just flashed to 0802 and thought all my settings would revert back to the default but they have stayed the same! It says its 0802 on the Post screen. Is this normal??
What should I be trying to get a higher fsb on 0802 then??
OMFG OMFG!!! Finally, I have my E6550 2.33ghz running at 500FSBx7 = 3.5Ghz
The only issue is, my memory is set at 2.1V in the Bios = 2.21V on Probe... Its supposed to be a max 2.0v according to Kingston. :rolleyes:
day 1 huh? you wanna fight? :p:
picture below;)
the only thing different now is that my NB is running at 34*C because i reseated the stock block with MX-2 and added it to my water loop. also, in the pic it was a blend (i believe) and the new figures i've just written are from OCCT beta in RAM mode which should stress the RAM/NB quite a bit more and add some extra heat in there. also, please note that voltages will be different in bios as they over/under volt when in windows. hope this helps.
Ok back up with new RAM! Flashed to 0802 and everything is OK so far!
445*9
DDR2 1186 5-5-5-15 @ 2.32v
Static Read = On
Clock Twister = Strong
Trans Booster = Off
Relax = 1
I am getting the same clocks as before, but with lower volts on everything except the CPU. That remains the same. I tried the NB at 1.55 Real, but OCCT RAM caused my machine to reboot. Bumped the voltage up one notch and I had stability. I am REALLY liking OCCT for tuning this board. Using Orthos and OCCT set to CPU, I was able to confirm the CPU was good. Then I ran OCCT set to RAM and had the reboot. The ability to stress the NB <=> RAM link is fantastic.
Vcore = 1.54 (1.5625 set in BIOS)
DRAM = 2.32 (2.22 set in BIOS)
NB = 1.58 (1.55 set in BIOS)
SB = 1.12 (1.10 set in BIOS)
SB2 = 1.52 (1.5 set in BIOS)
FSBT = 1.58 (1.55 set in BIOS)
PLL = 1.71 (1.6 set in BIOS)
Temps Idle/Load:
NB = 32/35
SB = 33/37
MB = 28/32
CPU = 28/54 (35/65 according to CoreTemp 0.95.4)
Ambient = 24.5
EDIT: I need to update my sig!
I still can't POST with Maximus Formula...
I am locked on DET DRAM....
I already tried:
Removing power cables
CMOS clearing
Battery removing
1 stick of cheap 1.8V 667 RAM (tried every slot)
Left only 1 ps2 keybord plugged on the mobo. Not even HDD's are connected.
Really don't know what to do anymore...
I will try a long CMOS clear, removing the battery for 10h+ (overnight). It is insane how an expensive mobo like this, can have all of this problems...

Yes, the mobo was working fine with bios 0401, then I flashed to 0802, and now it is not posting. Locked on DET DRAM...
No, you can't POST without RAM.
But, thanks anyway man.

have you tried one stick of low voltage RAM?
Yes...
I already tried:
Removing power cables

Battery removing

Left only 1 ps2 keybord plugged on the mobo. Not even HDD's are connected.
Now i am doing a long CMOS clear... I'll wait 10h without the battery.
Any other sugestions?
