whoa! 11 fans (that i can see). you wanna try lapping heatsinks and use good thermal paste, with better heat transference you can afford to lose some fans and have other fans spinning slower ... thats what i've done. up until yesterday my system was silent (apart from the raptors grinding away), but one of the nexus fans is giving me a whirring sound nowQuote:

you should try lapping, there's loads of metal to work with considering your just working with micro layers. temps will deffinately go down, i have only 5 12cm fans, 3 x 1000rpm, 1 x 800rpm, 1 x 1200rpm and my idle and load temps are well below yours. if i put faster fans on i shave a few more degrees but imhappy with my setup for now.Quote:
