Just got mine in the mail today after a long month wait :) I wish I weren't sitting in the middle of the pacific ocean and having to wait forever to get things but it was definetly worth the long wait!

It's finally all hooked up and ready to roll. I had issues with the standoffs not fitting on my particular v2000, but a little innovation pulled me through. Matt was a huge help. If you haven't picked up one of these badboys yet - get it done. Looks great, isn't that loud, even though the fans are small [we're talking performance here, noise isn't part of the discussion - LOL], and installs nice and secure.
Great pickup. I'll surely buy another if I pick up another Expert.

I apologize if you already addressed this but I did not take the time to read every post, I just found out about your design and had to know right away. Do you have any left for the Ultra-D DFI board? I will take one immediately, fans and all, I want a complete kit if you still have one. What is your price?

anyone know if this kit will fit on the expert with a scythe ninja or a tuniq tower ?
also i have gskill ram .. 1.5 or 2 ? will the 1.5 fit ?
also how loud are these fans .. havent checked this thread in awhile and just saw they are ready to go .. waiting for answers before i order

I think it says somewhere in the thread that it won't fit a ninja, though I don't know about the tunig tower. The fans aren't too bad, though they are now the noisiest component in my system. Not an option if you're looking for a silent PC - but a solid choice for a performance PC.Quote:

Yeah, the non standard ram is the Corsair with the LEDs (what I have), while the rest s standard height. You have an option to order 2" OR 1.5" risers for clearance. The bracket fits with the 256mb version, cuz I have two in SLI - but I'm not sure if the 512 will fit.Quote:

The 7800GTX has the same PCB has the 7800 512. It fits.

If anyone has mounting problems due to mismatched thread type get a hold of greatscott, he can give you some guidance on how to make it work. Unfortunately motherboard standoffs aren't standardized in the industry to a single thread size/space and I only cary the most common type in the hardware kit.

He was developing one for the Ulta-F & SLI-D, but seems to be putting the project away for the time being. Shame, cuz it's pretty sweet, and works really well - especially on my setup, which is reverse ATX, and has the exhaust fan right at the rear edge of the bracket. All the hot air is sucked right out the back - perfect.
Going in to negotiation on selling the design rights to let someone continue producing these brackets (including the unreleased Ultra-D model). So keep your eyes peeled for the return of the brackets :)
