I just got a 3700+ SD from the same place SIOUX got his, but unfortunatly it insn't a KAB3E ;)

Here's the stepping:

You might have written this, but exactly where did you buy the processor? Cause, we have SHG in Norway as well, and if they have it there ;)

We bought it at http://www.shg.dk :)
But I've heard that they don't have any KAB3E left...! Only KAB2E and KAB7E

last time i got with 1.6v 3321mhz pi stable

Some KAB7E 0547 are pretty good actually --> 3.1GHz Primestable under water.

i got my KAB7E running at 3100mhz prime stable @ 3200mhz havent tested it yet but it is running so far

but over 3100mhz it's getting hard with my kab7e

100mhz more without ihs and about 9°C less @ load

Nice cpu´s.

I recivid one of this yesterday but i have some problems.

Primming at 3000mhz 1.39v but 20min again the system crash, get freeze and can´t move the mouse. Then i need to restart.

Any idea?

dfi sli-dr expert 27/12
2x1gb gskill zx (orange slots)
sandiego 3700 (water cooling)
ocz ps 520w......

My CPU had some strange freezing to start with. So I gave it 1.45v in bios (DFI NF4 Ultra-D) and began to work with ram settings in BIOS/A64tw.

Now prime95 24.14 stable at 3003 MHz on air.

Edit: Could be related to Max Async Latency and Read Preamble (to tight) and/or Vcore.

You need to tweak your memory + SuperPi man....

Hehe, I tryed so once, and I was right, only one things wrong... It was a stability trick with his mem :P (tras = 0 is worse than tras = 5)

GPMW's on 3.0GHz..both exactly the same..even the temperatures. On 3.1GHz the temperature of the 0139 San Diego is 3 degrees lower, but on 3.0GHz they are the same..:confused:

At 1.47v prime run 8 hours last night. But this cpu was tested in other configuration and he do 3000mhz at 1.37v and 3100 at 1.45v (on air).

Why the system get freeze????

Well, they have got some with the E6 stepping, I don't know how these overclock. Anyone care to give me a hint?
