I did that, and that was the only thing that allowed it to boot..
Then THAT stopped working!!
I just kept futzing with it, and after awhile ( a LONG while, and MANY cmos clears, ram slot changes, ram changes, cpu changes etc...)
It booted again, but it STILL gets stuck at 3 leds when cold booting 99% of the time, when it does I hit insert a billion times ( sometimes I have to hit reset 3-4 times), and it usually boots.. then I get to windows and restart and it's fine.
Right now my vcard is in the primary slot, but it wouldn't boot for 3 days in that position ( I reseated it 10x), until I moved it to the 2nd slot...
Now it runs in the 1st slot again ( albeit with a billions hits of the trusty insert key).
Weird and definitely unwanted stuff there.
