Seems nice enough :) . Almost the same stepping that I'm going to buy: LDBFE 0626GPMW. Keep us updated :fact:Quote:

Just thought I would make you aware to reduce the likeliness of a blown cpu as I also own the same board on another system.
Looking good though :)
i hope this help's

This is my first OC, and here is what I got. I have my X2 3800+ running at 2.6ghz with 1.45v and HT 4x, idle temps of 31C-33C and max temps at 44C-45C, using a Thermaltake Big Typhoon. Still trying for 2.7ghz stable.
Just hit 2.7ghz, it is topping out at 53C-54C at full load. Is that a decent OC? 700mhz at just over stock temps?
EDIT: AAAARRGGGHHH!!!! My PC froze! 2.7ghz is not stable for me, looks like 2.6ghz is my limit.
I have mine to @2.7GHz to 1.55V.
Oscar
I had mine at 1.45v @ 2.7ghz, do you think upping the voltage might help make it more stable? It was at 54C, so I can't do too much more with it, but do you think upping it from 1.45v to like 1.5v would make it stable?
Of course! My X2 is fully stable 10h primer95 stable. ;)Quote:

Oscar
I'm at 2.5 Ghz 1.328v (board undervolts from stock 1.35v)
X2 3800+ Manchester
LDBFE 0621 GPMW
Running 260x10 @ stock volt(cpu-z 1.31vcore)
Noctua NH-U9 with Zalman 92mm 53cfm@7v Idle 27-28 Load both cores 38-39
Prime stable, but fails to load win @ 270x10. Havnt tested it more than that, Im in the middle of moving :D
Ok, so you think that if I up the voltage from 1.45v up to 1.50v it will be stable? I will try that out later today. If I can get a 700mhz OC that would be great. As of now I am already at the levels of an X2 5000+, so I am already saving like $350 just from overclocking. If I can get 2.7ghz and still stay at under 55C that would be sweet.
Although at 2.7ghz @ 1.45v it was hovering around 54C when it crashed, but it was running for about 30min-1 hour so I might be able to keep it arouind 55C if I put it at 1.50v. And just for the record these temps are using speedfan, but from what I've heard speedfan is very accurate. Ok, I have it at 2.7ghz, 1.50v, and HT 4x. Lets see how hot it gets.
Ah man, I am not liking this. It is at 57C and rising. Is that something to worry about? I heard that 60C is the absolute limit, is that true?
Your computer will shut down if the cpu gets to hot, AMD has a built in security. BUT I would think about all my other settings before raising the voltages on cpu more, cause at 1.55 there are reported deaths, so unless you have phasecooling or waterchilling, I suggest that you lower it to 1.525 or lower. I'm able to run my x2 3800+ at 2.85ghz at 1.45 volts, so you understand why I think your volt is high? :) Lower the HT to 3X, Set the ram divider to 166/333, and cpu multi to 9x and you can push your cpu higher if your motherboard is up to it. Mine is stable even over HTT 300..... last overclock I had stable was this.... :Quote:
