Yes, but I'm sure that system is running the demo drivers, the ones that render every odd frame rather than true crossfire.

That's just like a SLI-D only it's for Crossfire and costs twice as much, right? Is there anyone NOT on drugs there, that's the competition they're putting out for SLI ?

Do you think there will be some step up program through DFI to upgrade a SLI-DR to the CF-DR for some extra money because I really do not want to pay another $150-160 for the CF motherboard and have to sell my SLI-DR on eBay or something.

As someone else said its all about supply. Once this mobo is out is mass availability, it will not be much(if any) more expensive than the SLi-DR when it was released, and the price will drop as time goes on.
