7800 looks very nice. Seems Ati already has fallen behind first with countering against SLI now the r520 no where in sight.
Did 77.72 drivers help in 3D any gains over 76.10 ?

I dont think it matters if they fall behind.
Not everyone will rush and buy G70 before 520 is released.
R520 will not see the light tomorrow man, even Crossfire based on current generation isn't available so figure, I think a few months will pass until ATI release R520, that's a lot of time to play with G70's :D .
Hey OPP, which brand are your cards?
The Ultra ( if such thing exists in their plans at the moment ) will probably be 24 pipe again, but with higher clocks.Quote:

They'll prolly do that 3-6 months after the Ultra release...but I doubt immediately.Quote:

Nice job!! OPP thats some insane 2k1 scores. :slobber:
very impressive!
what about temps?
When looking at those scores, i saw 15990 3DMarks...i was like wtf thats not high at all, my 6800u can get like 14k+ in 3dmark03. And thats when I realized that was 3dmark05...
:eek2:
 Put this information in a OS thread - I bet not many ppl do know this..........Quote:

686 fps in nature. A mere 13,700 points from one test. That beats my GF3 ti200 score by 500 points I think  My GF3 ti200 got 76fps in nature.
At those frame rates that guy fishing is actually going to catch a fish by the end of the benchmark :)
Maybe.
Nature used to be "the DX8 toughy" now it just gets beaten to a pulp by multiple shaders that were honed for 3.0 actually doing 1.1 !!!.

Andy
Awesome '01, OPP. How much does a single card do in '01 for ya?
Nice run Terry  :worship: :clap:Quote:

Still, excellent results Terry! GJ!
If this was already asked and/or answered then i apologise, i read the thread quickly cos im shattered but here goes:
What are the temps like on stock cooling? What is the power demand on them like?
Awesome results, but goddamn those cards are huge, that NF4 chipset must get pretty hot on air cooling with SLI.
G
Well all I can say is that OPP rules, great results cant wait to see records fall.
The temps i don't know.Quote:

I am very curious what two x900s would get in nature, maybe 1000+? :slobber:
