nice photochop.. if only it were reall.. well it probably will be.. just set the cpu fan to 1000rpm and let it glow!
Nothing new is happening..I guess heat was their issue. But changing the 6 boards, sli > single video card and last changing the stock HSF to a higher RPM/CFM cooler totally voids this stress test for Intel.
oh well, off to school..
ROFL THAT WAS GREAT ;) :woot: :explode2:Quote:

LOL Hans:)
Intel: for all your rolling blackout needs.
(if anyone lives in the southwest around here u'll get that joke)
Go the PC wizzards at Tom's 'Its running at 90 degrees lads, and it keeps crashing, is it too hot do we think?' 'No, cant be, its only two prescotts on one die!'

Did anyone notice that voltage was lowered when cpu went under load?
ya. that was commented on a while ago.. apparently some think that the THG guys lowered the voltage in the bios below stock levels. but this is just conjecture. it could be the mobo misreading the voltage.
Looks like Intel has open system case, Intel has no reading for system temps..
So Intel is missing case temp and CPU temp dropped 20 C, i just wonder...
muahahahahhah this the best thread i have ever read since the discovery of UTT!!
it's even better!!
EDIT: subscribed off course!!
... :stick: thats a pic of the intel system btw, kinda hard to tell from all the smoke... Looks like the majic smoke is coming out from the p4 system.
ya it was a joke wfarid... but give intel 2 years and it wont be a joke.
lol, anyone notice how about an hour to 2 hours ago the intel reboot was at 4, and now its back at 1, i swear, my frend lives 150 miles away from there, ima get him to go shoot them a holes for rigging everything they do
what !! they changed it again.. this is nuts.. let me go check
no it says 3 reboots on my end here... try refresshing the page.
and even if they did. violence is not that answer.. sending this to the INQ and posting it on our front page IS the asnwer.. Saaya is working on that now.. and ill send the article to the INQ when its done.. trust me when i say half the computing world will know what a fraud THG is.
yet again they run divx on the amd system for a few seconds, and it gets 10 minutes so fast, they get scared and exit, ya it jus popped back up to 3
oh ya, just so u guys know, i think the drop in temp is cuz they started pumping more volts into the cpu fan, lol, its now running at more than 1500 rpm
They certainly did add some volts.. More volts to P4 fan.Quote:

wow that changed everything how many times, and intel restarted on all setups. While AMD has YET to reboot... Wow, i mean i knew intel was bad, but i never thought it was THIS bad. Respect goes out to AMD...
Read the german site...Dudes.. what havnt they swaped on this system..
-6 motherboards
-2 HSFs
-2 memories
-2 PSUs
I'm telling the problem resides with the core. Maybe they should just get another X2 so they can complete the test;)

Does one of you know btw weather or not the intel has throtled back ? If it did then this are really serious problems :slapass:
Well.... I like the AMD more so, I don't really care ;)
Lol, intel is now only at 70°C :owned:
Isnt anyone wondering why in the hell cant that guy setup a pc correctly. If intel computers burst into flames 3 times in a day in real life, dell would be out of business. I think this "test" has goten way too much press and seems to be done by people who could crash a toaster oven.
This is their Pentium D 840EE, a chip known to run that hot. One, that as far as I know, is not offered by Dell, as they tend to not use intel's top end chips... These temps ARE the same as every other reviewer showed, and actually a bit lower, as most said they had an IDLE of 60C!
:::edit:::
They DEFINITELY changed the fan on it, I'm not sure about the cooler entirely, but definitely the fan!
