it is 750...
how can i run 1:1 or 5:4 ?
the option is in the same area with cpu speed. set to manual, with my 730@200fsb the mem options are 266,320,400,500,533. it should show up the same if you hit that speed in bios. but if you set it in bios @133 the the only options its seems are 266,333.Quote:

it shows only 266,333. I cant run at 200fsb cause i cant change the multi.
@sharp bro i run it again and it shows 29,325 @ 2428
Thx :up:
With the wire mod (1.55v) you can't boot up at 14 x 200??Quote:

Hey guys,
What would be the best mobo for the CT-479? Goals is to being able to change vcore, vdimm to 2,8 is enough, and fsb of course, also agp/pci lock.
I would like the mobo being able to reach 250 fsb. Wich mobo and bios would be the best for my demands?
Thanks
Highest reachable vcore from bios on non-modded board, is with the P4P800 SE bios 1009. It gives you ->1.6vore from bios.
The 1.55vcore uwire mod is rather easy though.
For pure performance my guess is the P4C800, for easy 24/7 air use my guess is the P4P800 SE.
Haven't got mine yet though (RMA) :)
Doesn't have dual channel, so that's no option.
I'm looking at the normal P4P800 with the bios from the E version, that will give me vcore adjust etc. But in the first post it says that it has difficulties getting above 170...this true?
what do you mean doesnt have dual channel. both P4C800 and P4P800-se have dual channel. Make sure you looking up the right boards.Quote:

- Use original P4C800-E DLX bios 1021, or P4P800-E 1007.003.
- Boot with 200FSB = 533FSB Strap, means CPC on. You can also boot with 201FSB so AGP/PCI will lock. You can turn CPC on from Windows with a tweaker, so no need for 200FSB booting.
Anyone care to explain ? What is CPC ? Where is the tweaker ? My dothan can only boot at 173 MHZ, any way to lock the agp/pci ? Using clockgen, the maximum fsb is 194 no matter which multi I use (even 6x) so I suspect the agp/pci does NOT lock.
Any help will be appreciated !
Thanks :)
May be is gonna be nice , if you tell us what MoBo you have , which model Dothan you have , nobody here is fortune-teller...Quote:

May have been a mistake to get 760, with 15 multi... you need to boot at 201fsb to lock the agp/pci and you can use software once in windows to enable performance memory mode, change multipliers, change fsb and adjust memory timing.Quote:

Thank's ! :)

Works absolutly stable. V-Core on CPU-Z is not korrekt, Speedfan shows real V-Core.
nice ,, :d
@TigersClaw
That's very nice, I am also planning to use P4GD1+ct479+PM740. I just hope the processor will boot with 200fsb to windows. Once in windows it should be possible to lower the multi with EIST if things are not stable.
Is it possible to adjust fan speeds with the Speedfan on the P4GD1?
(warning: I am from Finland so there could be some typos...)
No, Speedfan can not adjust fan speeds on P4GD1.Quote:

Hoping to boot into windows at 201fsb, (2814mHz) at 1.55v on AIR...
OTOH, I have -65C of cooling to help her out ;)
