STONKA which stepping do you have? it looks awesome!
Taking it slow and steady, I don't feel like breaking something that I'm extremely happy with.

Probably would scale better with volts but I am nearly at my limit of 1.55v and 50C. No plans for better cooling either. Overall I am pretty happy with this cpu...

first post here, my late lamented 3000 @ 2.7 gave up the ghost the other day......picked this 3700+ as a replacement:
http://img350.imageshack.us/img350/1...stable142v.jpg
BTW this is is on air with a TT Big Typhoon...think I should pick up a Opteron 146?
Forgot to add the cpu stepping KAB2E 0532 XPAW batch#
0886.
yeah - the KAB2E's are little honies. :) mine does 2.8ghz @ 1.4 vcore. lol. mine is KAB2E 0532XPMW... just letting my AS5 set as I installed my DFI mobo yesterday... love this board... voltages are so stable.. whew... good times! I hit 3ghz with this cpu on my MSI mobo @ 1.56 vcore.. but not prime stable as the vcore was all over the map... the neo4 sli is NOT a good mobo for serious OCing... it just does not have good voltage control.. but at stock it's a great peformer. :) I am looking forward to 3ghz stable on this board. yeah!!
Here is a update 2.9 @ 1.40Vcore 21C ambient temp
http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/8...le140vc.th.jpg
Local store didn't have any 939 Opterons in stock, and as they were nice enough to refund my purchase price on the dead 3000 towards any cpu. I chose this 3700+ after seeing some of the results posted by yourself ( revenant ) and others....thanks for posting you're results.
Have tried 3Ghz will boot into and run SuperPi 1M @ 1.48
but can't last any longer than 20 minutes running Sp2004,
so am quite content to run 2.9 @ 1.40.
Nice... yeah - glad my info helped. That's why were here, eh? ;)
I am just trying this cpu on my DFI mobo here and am going to try 2.9 on stock vcore now... I was not sure if it would do that. ...and now thanks for your info. :) I think 3ghz required 1.55 set in the bios, so 1.53 reported by cpuz and smart guardian... from what I have seen with this chip... but 2.9 on stock vcore is a thing of beauty. cool and the gang!
I am at 2.86ghz on what I thought was default vcore.. it says 1.45 in the bios, but my mons say 1.408 (cpuz) and 1.4 (SG). hrm... well, it's low vcore and I will take it.
I got a San Diego cabge0516tpaw
SanDiego 3700+ - 2200@2950Mhz 1.65v-core

Hey guys, thought I might post my results. CABGE 0518 UPCW 4000+ running at 1.525 vcore 312mhz HTT 9x multi for 2.8ghz. The ram is matched 1:1 at 2.9v with 2.5-4-4-10 for timings.
Got mine today, tested in a warm room...
3.05ghz... - 1M stable, didnt had time for mor, I used a vapomicro aircooler... - and got a temp ~ 50-65.. :(
Watercooling will be up this weekend, and thats why I dont post pictures yet :)
used 1.52vcore btw..
Hope to see 3.15 ghz 32M stable on water, and 3333mhz on waterchilling...
My first 1mb L2 cpu btw..
I recently purchased a 37000+ CABGE 0515SPMW cpu from a person on another forum, says on his DFI that it did 2700mhz on SI-120+120mm Denki with 1.4v, I think this cpu is going to be a little sweety on my watercooling. :)
Some updates, the highest clock in windows, push 1MHz more, shutdown~ :slapass:
http://www.ocqq.com/phpbb/files/3155_small_108.jpg
The highest clock can complete 3Dmark01, 3025MHz, I think still can push a little bit higher,

Hi this is first post here at xtremesystems :)
i would like som help from you experts.
read my cpu in sign
i can run my cpu right now 280 * 10 mem ratio 1:1
i have tried to put it up to 300 * 10 ratio 1:1 but wont go stable there.
i have loose timings 3 3 3 8
do you guys have any tips that can make me reach for 300 * 10 or * 9 ?
i have tried a lot of different settings.
can you go 300 on cruical ballistix tracer 1:1 ?
or should i go 300 on cpu fsb and use mem divider for my mem ?
hope you guys can help me out
exuse for bad englist , i am from sweden.

Anyone ever get a bunk KAB2E? My chip is as follows:
ADA3700DAA5BN / KAB2E 0538BPMW.
The absolute max I can prime out of it is 1.61v actual (1.55v set in bios) at 2.7GHz. This is on a DFI NF4 Ultra-D board (6/23 bios), an Athena power 650 watt PSU, and liquid cooling. CPU never gets above 40C. I lowered my HTT, relaxed the memory timings, tried various combinations of memory dividers, cpu multipliers, fsb, etc. I've tried running 1.45v * 113% which gives me about 1.6v in windows, BUT, when measure it from the surface mount capacitors near the CPU socket it shows 1.655v idle, 1.67v load! That voltage at 2.8GHz was completely unstable as well, failed prime95 instantly. Is there something I am missing? Any suggestions? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
ok..i have to ask...
im going to order a 4000 diego..what should i tell my guy i want? stepping etc.'
thanx yall.....tired of reading lol...my brain hurts.
Flash
after waiting a whole month for s939 opteron (never came:banana: ), i bought a 3700+ san diego...:D
board is dfi ultra-d, ram ocz platinum rev2, SD stepping 0544FPMW...:woot:
this are the results on home made watercooling:
2800mhz@1.39V vcore, mem 1:1
<a href="http://imageshack.us"><img src="http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/7969/prime95280014v2sj.jpg" border="0" width="1024" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" /></a>
3000mhz@1.52V vcore, mem 1:1

i was too lazy to wait for prime95 5+ hours, i have a screenshot after 1 hour of prime 300x10@1.5V, ram 1:1...
and this is a shot on air cooling, my personal record...i didn't have time to tweak for best result, but soon i think i'll go under 27s sp1m...
