well after some more testing i donkt know what the problem is but now i get errors in memtest at 250mhz when in the begining i would get the errors at 252mhz

the timings are 2 2 2 10 3.3v any help ??

maybe your voltage is droping under load? can you try 3.4v?

i have tried up to 3.5v 252mhz 2 2 2 11 and still errors b4 there were no errors
maybe memcontroler is no good bcause with tccd memory it used to hit 300mhz but when i tried again with the tccd yesterday it woudnt boot windows at past 256mhz at any timings.

:( That sucks mate. Are you sure you are not forgetting a setting of some sort? These A64 mem controllers just add one more thing that can go wrong..

only been 30 mins with these bad boys in, havent primed or memtest yet
amd64 tweaker is not being used, all settings are through BIOS. I posted a pic of that just so you guys can see the timings that CPUz cant show

EDIT: I now see you're at 250, not 280. :rolleyes: Oh, well. That's still some excellently nice RAM for the price!

its at 280 but the divider is set to 180

Its a nice clock as the LDT speed is high, remember you have to overclock 3 items on A64, HTT, LDT and the ram, and hit a balance on all 3.

Its not about them suppling its about WHO orders the ram from them.
They are not gonna ship a retailer ram without them ordering it first.

We can only sell what they ask for. Some may not want to carry a cheaper product. Less profit right? Keep bugging them. :)

I can't tell. LoL. Like i said earlier. I cannot see the chips on those. I have identical sticks as what are on the site i linked to, and like i posted ealier, in other sticks the date code on the IC's varies, but there are always the 40445 date on at least one of them. Adata ram that is high-speed rated all end in the -5b in thier "steppings". As do pretty much all other high-speed ram IC's...Be it Micron, Infineon, Hynix, or Winbond, the 5b had been common. Finding dirt-cheap ram with these IC's, on the BP pcb's is worth the wager for speed, if you ask me.
I'm priming right now under 2.75v 2.5-3-3-8 233mhz. I remember a day when you paid big bucks for that. But then i also know you pay big for hand-picking. I'll buy 3 pairs of cheap stuff for the price of one and take my chances, but then again, i'm on 754, and don't really care about ultra-high fsb for daily use...so i can afford to take the chance.

i can go to 2-2-2-5 but it requires a booster right now....kv8 only has 2 dimm slots, and I need at least a gig for my uses.

LoL. the top one in the pic is utt. you can tell the difference in the ic package size. The bottom one is ch-5, i believe.
