I think I maybe limited by the onboard memory controller of the processor... I'm going to see how I get on with this memory - I might RMA my CPU in 6 months time and hopefully get a newer week one... My current one is week 41.Quote:

shame on you Steve, your not using OCZMemtest!
Can you do the same using 2x512 dual?Quote:

Ill bench using one 256meg stick if I get a higher 3dmark score, and I do..
Depends on what your after, high benches or usefull PC.
I allways stick another stick of ram in once im done with 3dmark.
I run my PC with 512mb all the time. I have the option to run 768 (3x256) but the system is fater with 512 and bigger overclock, certainly no slower anyway.
Maybe once I move to a fater graphics card ill notice more of a difference as I will be able to use bigger textures.

Running one 512 for 3dmark would definately be better than two (for single channel 754 that is) your FX needs 2 sticks for dual channel.
I could still run it single-channel with one Dimm at a much higher FSB though... Can't I?...
Max FSB on intel RIG 2*512 with 3,4 volts???
i'm gonna order a pair of GB
OMG amazing memory
OCZ >>>>>
Aye - Roll on Wednesday when it's in stock!
3.35V as before. My CPU doesn't run well with 2 sticks of ram no matter what I use I can't get over 250FSB with a gig of ram. But as you saw nutcase was able to do 270 with 2x512 2-2-2- timings :)
All
Well what are those chips you people think? It behaves pretty much like good old BH-5 by all means... And now Mushkin released LvlII Black series again..
Could it be that the BH-5 production back in business..?
Good work OCZ!
Insta-BAN! :D ;)
Just kidding.... joke from a few pages back. They don't want to say as someone else could copy them. You'll probably find out in due time like when mysteriously there are more voltage lovers on the market.
No It means Mushkin can use the TCCD chips to replace RMA BH-5 chips and sell the bh-5 chips for a profit.Quote:

Any idea how this stuff will compare to TCCD 280 @ 2.5, 3, 3, X to this stuff 265 @ 2, 2, 2, X? Thanks a lot.
Wow thats some amazing ram.. me wants :D
What a busy thread,
Just so you guys all know , I am trying to figure out whats wrong with the prices in europe .
ryan price in europe usually goes this way:
price in USA $ = price in EU €...but 1€ = 1.32$....so 32% higher by default + margain of resellers/pc stores
wanna know price for OCZ EL REV2 in my country SLOVENIJA?
430-440$ for a pair!!!!
can you do something about it ?
btw. it's cheaper to buy the memory from an US-online store.
I and 2 friends ordered them from excaliberpc and we have to pay about 225,- €/per person(with taxes and custom and shipment)
The strong Euro is really nice :)
There are things we can do about it , and we will .
I want to note I did find a really good store in The UK that seems to price things more reasonably
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/
United Kingdom have pounds no euro. If you pay things from there you have a bad exchange rate and have to pay the same costs of shipment as from USA.
btw. you get rams faster from USA

I don't want to displease you but that's economy - European companies are nervous, because they can't export their products (because it's to expensive in the USA), the only advantage is that imports are cheaper.
Edit:
Two year ago 1 € was just 0.88$
the US products were much more expensive
could you do a few benches with looser timings and fsb above 280 (939 dual channel please :) ?
