I'm wondering if you could make it low-profile... I have put giant heatsinks on my memory, and the center slot is obviously useless. Since the maximizer only uses a few pins from the DDR PCB, maybe you could make it much lower too? or just solder the wires from the floppy-bay unit directly into the DIMM slot?

A dfi delivers 4.0V....isn't that enough to feed youre ram?or is something different?

yes and filters a LOT of noise out of the volt signal and provides a nice clean and stable voltage.

So it won't only help OC by giving MORE volt but also by giving CLEANER volts

Look.......MOST of the times when someone wants to boot into Windows with OVER 3.7Vdimm into DFI bios which ACTUALLY IS 3.82Vdimm, is difficult.......Blue screens, even corrupted files......Now with the DDR Maximizer you can boot into windows at 3.8Vdimm and then play with it as much as you want "onthefly"...... ;)

SECOND reason is that the mobo works MUCH more stable and colder coz it doesn't need to feed the Rams with power so as to get really hot........ ;)

......and THIRD, almost everyone who has bought a Zippy 700W PSU and try the Mobo's jumper to 4Volts, it doesn't work....Now comes the Maxi to solve this.......ALSO in Mobos that takes the power for its Ram Mos-Fets from the 5Volts line, the Maxi work just fine with it

I've seen some of the prelim ideas on it and just one question...

can it be made/have an extension made so that it doesn't interfere with the other slots? Maybe an optional extension ribbon as an add-on?

What exactly do you mean about that?.......To have cables that from the one side will be "free" of connector?.......
