I started out at 50k, which gave me 1.74 at 1.7 in the bios. I used cpu-z to check voltage and then slowly turned it down. I left it at 2.05v. When I measured it at that setting it read 5.6k. It overvolts at 2.1 and the board tends to overvolt under load. Which chip did you mod?
The one closest to the CPU.

opp do you have any problem with your khx3200 bh5 and the nf3 250 s939 ?
good question tanker , because i had tested some BH5 , none works properly.
Do you try oranges and purples dimms ? what happened ?

Edit: Sometimes, i dont understand why , the vcore mod don't work (rarely); and (with 1,7v bios) i have 1,66v (vmod connected) instead 1,74v normally ; and i get 1,74v when i disconnect the mod , it's strange :D
i have to power off/on and it re-works.
Opp, what ram do you recommend for this board in particular?

but I think most people are having great luck with OCZ PC3500/3700EB or some High end CH-5 chipped ram.
I don't have ram suggestions for this mobo yet.
I just started playing. All I have used is my Mushkin LevelII 3500.
Runs OK gunna try my 3500 EB today and see what happens.
I had to give up last night, but I never got it to do 2V on the v-core. It would freeze up in windows at 1.95.
I'm useing a Cascade for cooling the CPU, made by PCIce, very cold:)

That's a really good price, I paid 230.00 for mine :(.
The reason why I'm asking about the ram is that I currently have a pair for Mushkin PC3500 Level 2s (2 x 512mb) and I debating whether I should keep them or not.
With the current system I have (see sig), I could not overclock the ram at all, even after setting the ram voltages to 3.3v did nothing but give me more memory errors. I think I just have a bad set of them.
I've been eyeing down the OCZ 3700's as they're the current favorites amongst people here and at Anandtech.com. But I'll definitely do some research on the Corsair 3200 LLPT 1.2s as they are a bit cheaper :D.
I'm getting geared up to buy (within this week) the rest of my watercooling setup and the OCZ 520 Powerstream PSU (was going to get the PC Power & Cooling 510, but it was just too expensive).

Sorry to hear that OPP, not sure why you cant get 2v. I've ran mine that high it just doesn't help the cpu I have
Same thing for me 2V doesn't help , but we don't have the same temps for sure.

I ran this at the voltage in the pic. My cpu hates it and overclocks less acutally. Probably a temp thing. I watched it in cpu-z and while running spi it overvolted to 2.112

I think the reason for the delay in 939 boards may be related to the fact that they are testing 90nm CPUs with them to make sure the motherboards can run both 130nm and 90nm reliably. At least I hope that's the reason. Could be a PCI-E thing also.:rolleyes:
OPP, if it doesn't have ov protection at 2.1v as mine went up to 2.112 then you may have fried it will too much voltage. What did you have vcore set at and did you try to run anything?Quote:
