Hey trans, just wanted to let you know that the top 4 results in this thread were done with an MVG :p:
My ownership with a 2600K will be shortlived...since this little challenge goes until August I'll be ready to play too :D

Just running the UD3H for the first time under LN2 right....CBB -110C - and no torch :mad: Could be the CPU however which is a complete dud anyways - maybe I should freeze my Hypers?

Drop me a PM with a list of the OS "tweaks" you are using plus UEFI screenshots of CPU config and memory timings (include the timings you are using for the run itself).

What Gungstar said above is correct also. :) To me this seems like a possible UEFI config error and a combination of incorrect memory timings for the frequency used. Get those wrong and the scores will tank.

I am on 100 - is it better to be 100 or other? Only managed to pull down temps twice ... both times crashing when trying to run 32m at only 5.5ghz - but stopped - too annoying not ahving anything to heat the pot up ...another try tomorrow!

Don't use CAS 7 Trans, it's copy is far lower here than C8... you just need a good ram set for this... my TridentX's ( similar to yours, are the best out of my ram sets. ) but don't go TRCD 12 on air at all. Massman still has the BBSE and the good Samsungs RipjawsZ, but to get sub 20 sec needs mega tweaking and/or chilled dimms...

I also saw you were using 4 cores and HT on, set 2cores and HT off... 1 core is again slower then two...

Just fiddling about with the UD3H. The board is really starting to grow on me! :-)

Still some subtimings to tweak. Maybe I'll shoot for a 1400mhz run first.

I tried cas 7 and 8. these are psc im on right now. shamino said to enable cstate package support.
I appreciate all the help guys. Its going to take a while to try all these settings and report back. I'm so tired from being up last night. I need a 2nd wind.
