How's this for Hawx 2?
GPU @ 900/1450

A heaven extreme run as well at same clocks as above:

(3fps minimum... could not be arsed to run it again to bring that up)
2 HD6970s at 950/1450 with i7 950 at 4.5GHz in 3DMark11 P Setting.

Here is Vantage -

And here is 3DMArk06 used Afterburner to OC the first card past AMD's CCC Overclock Profile to 987/1500.
However Afterburner can't OC past the CCC Overdirve limits on the second card.

Impressive. Although you might want to try the 10.12a RC3 drivers. Even though they have a lower driver package number they apparently 'officially' support the 6900 series. RC2 (and above) brought improvements to 3dmark11 for me, maybe some other games etc. i haven't really tried.
Also, a link to a GPU-Z test build that supports 6900 series, works for me :)

@ ^ = 1408 shaders ?
Yup, 6970 has 1536sp and 6950 1408sp.
Unsupported gpuz version shows same shaders as 5870 and 5850 (1600sp and 1440sp).
vrzone vGPU mod is confirmed working on 6970, will start on vMEM and vDDCI
All 3 mods are confirmed. Removal of the resistors was easy using tweezers and sideways force (no solder iron)
GPU 1.300V idle / 1.32V load - ambient 24C
Link?
All I could find was some soldiering a pot mod for voltage...nothing about removing any resistors...
sweet.
Look forward to more
nice result T_M :)

near the botton it says:
Quote:
MVDD and MVDDC are supplied by individual power regulators. You will need to remove the 0402 resistor highlighted above. Tune a 100 kOhm potentiometer to 63 kOhm, and solder it across the spots illustrated.
I think i'll wait for software voltage control (if there will be any) before i start pulling resistors off my card
Me too.
And the quip about 'No soldering needed' really threw me off...it's a pot mod, so of course you have to solder....
A pencil mod would be nice, though....and yeah I don't want to rip resistors for a non reversible mod, either...
I meant no soldering iron required to remove the resistors.
Well, i am dissapointed to report to the die-hards that the card seems to have a problem with cold - really really badly.
Anything below 5C pot caused fireworks and below 0C was a psychadelic experience
Wow... that's...
Although, i do remember reading somewhere (before the cards came out) that the dual BIOS switch somehow also helps with a coldbug? Any news on this?
Running OCCT stable at the CCC limits on my 6950, not very impressive I know, but as far as I know, it's as far as I'm getting without a hardware mod.

Here's a video of my experience with 6970 subzero.
As you will see, below ~5C its a fireworks show but as it warms up it becomes crystal clear.
