Hey dingdong,
i just love your build. I was stumbeling over it while i was reading thousands of boards and websites to gain some inspiration for my obsidian. I didn't found one that fits my imagination 100%, but yours is by far the closest to my dream-case. I would like to ask you if i may adopt some of your modifications? And if you say yes, if you could give me some tips here and there? Im a bloody nub in the case-modding area, i never had the money to build a machine/rig that fits my dreams, until now :)
It won't be a problem if you say "Nope, don't steal" - i would respect it and go another way. Anyway, hi@all@xtremesystems, you are really some crazy dudes here :D
2 bad hes selling it :(
Thanks mate :-) People have already used "my" ideas so I'm not fused. :) Some tips....measure twice cut once....make sure it all fits before you go ahead and do it! Just remember to take your time...do NOT rush anything.
Cheer up matey :) I didn't use this beast to it's full potential so time to pass it on! Looking on moving to air cooling for a while :)
nice to know i got your permission, i will send you a link to my worklog now and then - i hope youre german is good (just joking, i will have the main parts in german and english). i allready got a question regarding the deconstruction of the case. i guess you popped of the top of the case - how did you fix it after you removed the rivets?
Mate, really inspirational stuff. Been thinking of a 2nd revision of my own build but after a bunch of RMA'S never really felt the desire to do so. Thanks for the boost. Gonna get cracking on things real soon and just wanted to say how much this rig rocks. Good stuff, man.
well, i gotta chop it of. i decided btw to make a english worklog here and a german worklog over there where im coming from (hardwareluxx.de). currently im wondering how i can put the starcraft-feeling into the casemod, wont be easy. maybe i just go pure black. anyway, i gotta chop of the top, im going for 420 in it.
how did you fix the plate on the motherboard-tray? this item is the one i got the biggest respect for. as i mentioned before i never casemodded anything in my life, and i am not good with my hands in any work (except my hands are working on a keyboard). i will have some help due - my dad is the opposite of me in this case ;)
Nice build buddy :) Great work
