I think so too, but are they getting into the shops for that price?
How has google picked up prices from zipzoomfly when zip hasn't even posted the product at all? I mean I know Google is good but predicting the future now?
So it is!

Dual Radeon 5970 launches on the 18th of November, 294W TDP
Pretty much official now.
i hope review sites overclock these things a good bit to see what they can really do. I understand them limiting clocks to keep it under the 300w tdp but we all know these cards can do a lot more then that.
if we have learned anything, its that you have to buy it the day its released or you wont get one like the 5870/5850s
Looks amazing, I can't wait to see the reviews.
Doubt it's fake.
Its real, trust me ;)
These slides emerged also on Gathering of Tweakers (gathering.tweakers.net) where other scoops have been posted before.
599$ with "SEP" they was supposed to start selling 5870 in june when we was in january it was planned for june.
TSMC tryed to "cheat" about the start of real 40HP.
wow ATI is wanting people to OC these.

Unlocked OC Limits
i guess since they couldnt release it at full speed, they let us have all the fun.Quote:
Massive Vapor Chamber Supports up to 400W
LOL, I called the price increase a long time ago. Only AMD fanboys like Abeljemka believed it would stay there. $499-> $599. That really significant. I am surprised noone is crying a foul as NV the only company with $600 dollar high ends supposedly.
Man people need to see AMD is doing wrong here. They increased the price by 100 dollars and they lowered performance on the clocks by 17% and memory clocks by 20%. Alot of people expected 5870 clocks at a 499 price point. Some were even expecting the 5970 to be clocked higher than the 5870.
If this was an NV thread, people would be up in arms about this. But instead since its AMD, people are already salivating.
if NV high end was $500, this card would have been $499 ;)
since NV has no immediate answer for $400 HD 5870, and when to do, you'll have $599 option from ATI.
no point in releasing this card at $499... it eat into sales of 5870
without a processor faster than 4 ghz, this@stock will be around 30 percent faster than a 5870. Might not justify the extra $200, but then which premium product justifies its price?
seems cores aren't from crappy 5870s they just downlocked them for lower wattage
is there a good and cheap case for this card?
A cheap case for a 600$ card is a little contradictory, don't u think...?
