How good would AMD start selling if they made a Phenom FX? Thats pretty much what the Black Edition's are, the replacement for the FX moniker. At least, thats what I cam up with in my mind.
If AMD really wanted to I'm sure they could start mass producing 3.6-3.8 Ghz "FX" chips, I mean if you look at how much they pushed frequencies on the Athlon X2 's I don't know why not. All the 6400+'s were cherry picked, if they did the same here they could have a 3.6 Ghz part on the market.
There are a lot of current AMD chips out there now that can hit 3.6 on stock voltage, albeit with no OC room without more voltage from there. Give them some more time and a new revision C3 or Dx or whatever and I think we'll start seeing them on the market. The 945 got scrapped by the 955 at launch because they had the silicon to do it. For them to really start moving chips they need to get OEM's to start buying the Phenom II's instead of the older phenom I's and then things will get rolling again.Quote:

Can you ask him to OC A 1100T for the next amd legendary hardware vid, should be able to get close to 1k cb since Fx gets like 850.
Gamers Nexus didn't do it justice @ all,no northbridge clocking w/low hertz on the cores like wtf ?
Do not worry, its no issue for me. I have still have in my colection Crosshair IV + 1090T + 1100T and GSkill RAM :)
