Don't think he needed it though after all that intense benching. :D
P.S. The snow is only beautiful if you don't have to shovel the crap.

Congrats on 40K+ simply amazing.
Any 3 x 285 testing coming up?
We thought about it just not enough time. GTX285 might have it's place though in some Marks :D

Gotta love that dog man :D
oh dear that dog is scary
you'd have to keep it well away from me if i every come over lol
i'm already :banana::banana::banana: scared of that beast :D
LOL at that dog!! mean man that! my cat can give it a go though ;)
NO lol... 295 is two gtx 260's on 55nm with more cores and performs slightly better than two gtx 260's in SLI, and performs worse than two regular gtx 280's in SLI...
The gtx 285 core performs about 10% better than 280 and clocks alot higher, 3ghz on the mem's on aircooling. There's no doubt 3x285 performs better than 2x 295's...
Looks to me that 3-way scales better than quad on vantage if these results are accurate :)
http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforc...w--3way-sli/22
yeah tri sli seems to scale alot better for sure than sli'd 295's will be nice to see if this does in fact hold true in the weeks ahead :)
lol the competition called "Dogfather" has ended, we have the winner
3 GTX285's Tri SLI will pretty much scale the same as 3 GTX 280's Tri SLI. Remember GTX 285's clocks are higher than GTX280's clocks. But most of us who bench clock our GTX 280's to, and beyond what the GTX 285's clocks are. When both of these cards are clocked the same they perform pretty much the same. Unless voltmods or extreme cold allows the GTX 285's to reach levels no GTX 280 could, I doubt we will be seeing many surpassed GTX 280 TRI SLI scores.
Great Results Vince.
Amazing scores   :bows:
Oh my Vince, that is a nice CNC Mill :) that would have set you back a pretty penny!
Very nice benches! keep up the hard core clocking!
"The Boss" is a big softy...don't let the photos fool you :D
