Dang...that is just pure art! You have some amazing skillz, hand tools and all...wow!
Can't get over the wickedly wicked reflection from that paint job. Made the pics a bit risky, from a Better Homes and Gardens perspective. But it looks like you keep well on top of your gardening, though you have a few blades of grass with spots on them. (I think I spotted a couple spiders too.):D
Dam!
Beautiful build. You haven't stopped impressing everyone through the years. I remember when you just started polishing blocks. Very impressive.
Let me take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who posted feedback, positive or negative, it was all more than welcome and for me makes mods like this all the worth while.
Just waiting to get hold of three GTX280 cards to see how the newest Intel Skulltrail D5400XS bios can cope with Tri-Sli as posted by Zargon at driverheaven
Anyway, i added the project to Custom PC Mod of the summer if anyone wants to vote, have a look at the competition or enter their own mod feel free to do so :yepp:
Seems like a bit of jiggery pokery going on already but its to be expected with £500 on the table
So until the new CM Stacker / Nehalem mod, thanks again
...........sorry, just couldn't resist another pic :D

Thanks for the support, honestly its greatly appreciated
I did forget to mention that this mod made SLI Rig of the Month – September which i was over the moon at
Well done for the sli-rig thing. I'd like to see the mod too please since i am thinking of doing something with mine. I think that its gonna suit cf and also the red suits the case itself
TY
Well done for another time
Thanks masxerofkartis

Now I know who to put at the top of my help list when I am need of advice when I build my next gaming rig. ;) Specially since I intend to water cool it. :D
Cheers buddy
Very nice gesture from Zotac turned up this morning in the shape of a 2009 diary complete with my name embossed into it.............how cool is that
http://www.coolercases.co.uk/skull/zotac_diary.jpg
That's great of Zotac to do that. A little bit of personalization goes a long way and it's well deserved. Congrats Paul.
REALLY awesome rig you have there. Good work. Be proud of it man!
Wow, I saw this over at another forum and did not know it was skulltrail. I just knew it was amazing :D. To be honest you're the one that inspired me to go WC and mod my own ATCS 840. Though I probably won't be able to mod it as well as you. I'd love to have some advice from you on how you plan to cut the super thin aluminum panels on the ATCS 840 =[
beautifull,if you are in the same country with me,i send you my case to modify me.
great job!!!
Cheers Aqua, it was a really nice thing for them to do and a great surprise i got to say.
Appreciated, thanks.
Yeah i'm following your prod log with great anticipation, its certainly pointing in the right direction but i got to say i have no idea what i'm doing with my side panels just yet. I'm a big fan of using the latest technology such as water and laser cutting but something tells me to go with jig-saw as its just so much more rewarding.
No worries mit but let me get the 840 finished first :)
We have a Skulltrail youtube video now so please feel free to leave comments, good or bad (i can always delete them:D)

Well due to my recent little disaster depicted here and here and the upcoming Intel® Core™ i7 Custom Desktop Challenge i decided to go back and re-work an old favourite of mine and pull out the now ageing (but still fantatic imo) Skulltrail and install an i7 system.
The case itself is pretty much good to go but i swapped out both radiators with HWLabs SR-1's - a 240 in the base to run the single 9800GX2 with nickel EK block and a custom 360 X-Flow (courtesy of Willie) in the top to run a i7 965 and chipset with custom made blocks.
Sounds like a simple swap-out but i must admit it took a little more time than i'd thought but i've enjoyed every minute tbh, plus it was great to revisit the Coolermaster pump/res combos which still work fantastic and its also a chance to get rid of all the corporate crap which ain't needed this time, so no logos this time around.
So anyway, i'm just busy leak testing with quite a bit to do but am having a good time so thought i'd post where i'm at...

Post for reference only
My apologies for bringing up old gear but hey, needs must sometimes and honestly no apologies what so ever for pimping the radiators, especially the custom SR-1 X-Flow 360 from Willie that still makes this post all worth while IMO :shock2:
