but you are right,i like doing things only once or twice so i keep inventory,i buy new stuff to test, order things weeks in advance.
i have paticence.....most of the time.
paticence...i learned that from a very old mechanic years ago.and not having paticence most of the time is the downfall of most people today.i do lots of testing and am not in a hurry ( i am... but i am not),have mutiple projects working on at once.and they normally work the first time,i looks for leaks when i assemble a item, not when i assemble the complete system(10 times as hard and longer to find)
damm i know i am getting old now.....i just changed the subject without realizing it......LOL:D Dale i feal like you:p:
A good lesson for all, especially for me. :D
Great to see you back at it and feeling better, Bowman. :D
Now that you are done goofing off, we want answers... LOL

yeah gettin a piece of mettal in your eye is seriously bad cuz that cuts it up big time...
Whadda ya mean.....Bowman eats pieces of metal for breakfast with milk and sugar! Old freezers and AC units!
Bowman, better visit a doctor, myabe youll be alright for one day but everytime you will move your eye bals or blink that piece of metal will ruin your eye more and more... Had a friend, he was doing somthing with his computer case, a metal bit stuck in his eye, he was good for 2 weeks and than he had to go to the hospital etc. and his blind on 1 eye
I agree with berkut. You should go see a doctor soon as possible. You'll find after a few days you'll think the piece of metal is gone, but actually it is still there the eye has formed a layer over it to protect itself from the metal. Then the doctor will need a needle to get it out! I'm talking from experience.
YUP nothing worse than metal splinters when the pain kicks in.
Then the infection.
Soon the gangrene will consume your eyeball.
Eventualy the gangrene will travel down your retina into your brain before eating it over a period of weeks.
A zombie you will soon be then m8.
Joking of course but I for one wouldnt take a risk if I really thought I had metal in mah eye ;)
well eye is better,it is just bothering me some.if i think i need to i will see the doctor.been there done that.had to have a piece DRILLED out once thats the scarest thing i ever had done.you are wide awake as your head is locked down, your eye is held open and a drill bitt that is turning goes straght into you eye as you see the bitt slowly turning just before it hits....i still have night mare ever couple of years over that one...LOL.
anyways thanks guys for worring over my old ass.
i have some pics i am working on will post in a short
well i did play with the coating...here is me dipping a block..
going in
after block is dipped
ok now all three blocks have gotten a 3 dip coating and a hand spatter last coat.this stuff is thick so i put them in a oven at 170f degree and let it cure faster.but one had a crack so the last coat i put on covered the crack.
this process took me most of the day yesterday waiting on drying times and recoats
here is the last pic yesterday.
i did get 3 newly adjusted lenghts of cap tubing tightly wrapped and soldered around the manifold, made up a hose to connect the condensor assm to the bench rig and am doing somthing completly differant with the cap tubbing.not sure how this will work but the entire cap tube is wrapped to the manifold to aid in cooling, but now i am making a cap supply tube to feep the 3 cap tubes.
o have planned this beast over and over and now it is almost ready.all i will have to do after i have finished testing the blocks one the 1hp compressor assm is just connect the rig to the cascade cooler without evap work.one hose and one cap feed tube and it will running.thats why if you look i made it in sections with bulkheads for easy connections.
