all i was saying is that 500+fsb is doable and stable aswell

Whats strange about the board and can you show us the CPUz verification for the screen shot above please? It would also be helpful if you showed us an everest shot showing all of your voltage like the ones we have been posting above:yepp:
CPUz verification like this one of a Maximus formula: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=275720
also an Everest like this one: http://www.picoodle.com/view.php?img....jpg&srv=img29
I wasnt trying to be sarcastic I was saying that was nice ;) (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=251) What I meant was that its nice that you have seen some because most Quad owners have not had as much success reaching FSB levels above 500 on either the Maximus series boards well at least not on water or air....
just a caution note here if you were going to use the fusion northbridge block with watercooling i would not use the white plastic barbs asus supply with the board, they are brittle plastic rather than rubbery plastic like the blue barbs you buy you'd be better replacing them with the blue type ones you buy , i was fitting a cpu waterblock on my motherboard and my hand slipped and i banged the white plastic asus barb and it snapped in half , water everywhere , luckily pc was off , dried out now so no harm done

That link doesnt take me to your ram...
Personally, I prefer Crucials PC12800...cheap and very high performing.
None of the usual guys have these. IS there a reputable dealer in the US? I'd like to get me a set or i am going withthe Corsair dominator 1800 with fans. Anyone have success to 1800 with them?
I would take a look at these ;)

BTW in the picture is 1800+ with 7-7-7-14 1t with vDimm of 2.06Quote:
"Legit summary: Legit Bottom Line: The 1600MHz Crucial Ballistix DDR3 memory kits are built to go fast even though the factory timings don't reflect that. They overclock with the best of them and feature a sexy black PCB and a neat clip-less heat spreader!"

i guess mine is outta stock,
but this is close, i think, to what i ordered.
better timings on the ones i ordered
It all depends on where you want to go with the ram....
For a 150.00 more you can get the Crucials and run at 1800 7-6-6-14 1t...
^^^ yeah true...
i might have to give the crucial's a test drive.
todays playtime brought this

i love this board
yes and it look like you,ve got a really good cpu as well cuprasport, what cooling are you using, well done m8 good results
the Ballistix i have are definitely decent. not as good as the Corsair Dominators but certainly a solid kit. plus, they don't have a higher binned kit so the chances of getting a really good kit are better than say Corsair or OCZ PC2-12800 kits because they have higher bins. if you can get them for a better price by a decent chunk than Dominators, i would have no problem recommending them. i am trying to find time to get them onto the Maximus Extreme for an update to the OC Report.
for Canadians looking for DDR3, NCIX.com has Patriot Viper Extreme 2GB kits for just over $300. yes, Patriot does offer a higher bin so these won't be amazing sticks in all likely-hood, and no, i haven't seen any results from them, but they should still be pretty solid for only 3 bills...everything 800MHz 7-7-7 has to be D9GTR, doesn't it?

i am trying to get my hands on a set for an OC Report, will let you all know if i manage to pull it off. solid DDR3 is almost 'decent' already ;)
yes i think your q6600 is about the best i have seen at what what frequency is it stable for 3dmarks super pi 32meg ., the maximus board is good once you get used to it took me a few days to get my head around it , i have dtek fusion as well with the 4.5mm nozzle kit i have a pa 120.3 and a pa 160 on the same loop which keeps the temps under control
Cupra well done!!
I want to try this board with my qx9650 under phase cooling. Anyone here use SS cooling and not having coldboot isuess ??
This is on a Single Stage 1/4hp phase running at -47c evap no load and -44c evap slight load...
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=260
It sometimes has boot issues on cold mornings when just turned on an evap is -54c but after a few tries it works...
would it be worth it for me to sell my q6600 and pay 210 on top for a qx9650?
im in england i got offerd a qx9650 for £420 and i got offerd £200 for my Q6600
