USA is tigther than a duck but to get stuff through customs. I just had stuff come back as the paper work was not right and thats suff to do with work for the USAF over there!
UK right now is on the the highest alert and they are taking longer than normal, norm is anything from 1 to 7 days to clear it via HMS Customs & Excise.
If it's come off Eddy it's probs come here then on to you more than likely, most stuff in the EU does come to London then on there after oddly!
Stuff from the USA varys, i've had stuff within 1/2 day (say like 36 hours) to 6 months
Im waiting for my new cpu but i think ive been scammed on it, been 2 weeks so far from the USA
stuf in europe ussaly goes through main land Eu/germany(Ups headquarters).i have also noticed that when i order stuf from Dhl and fed ex from the uk that it goes to THE Eu and then to ireland.
Not for everyone! Mine didn't come close. I had to notch and space out one of the mounting plates at least 1/8 inch. I didn't like the mod. Currently waiting for EK Shipped 12/2. Talonman is making me nervous at 20 days and counting. I may end up using the MCW30 after all.
Hehehe....

Order Description: EK Water Blocks
Buyer: Scott XXXXX
I baught 3 items, all of wich were in stock on EK's Web Page on the 20th.
PayPal confirmed the deal went through on the 20th, and funds were transfered to EK.
It has got to be the delivery time, so EK is actually off the hook in this case.
Us Americans however, who order directly from EK should understand that it will probably be a month before receive our order.
I really didn't expect that myself. Damn, the Wife is going to be right on this one.
Apparently the Slovenia to Ohio trek, is the stuff of Legends... ;)
Arnold made it here and he was from right next door to Slovenia...
I know it can be done.
ya its all good now so been waiting same time Living in VA, USA will see if its this week. :ROTF: ok realy  could it come tomorow hm:yepp: :shakes: will have to wait to see just know its my only part missing in my main setup second pc for wife is done. PS creative x-fi pci-e cards work perfect
it takes a little jiggle to get it down properly, it's a tight fit yeh but i've mounted and unmounted it a couple of times already without any dramas.
i certainly never thought about modding it  you're the first person i've heard who has had trouble, how old is your mcw30?
Hi!
I got complain about the NB S-MAX block does not very good fit to NB chipset of maximus formula. Because the holes for mounting are not little off the spot.
Can anybody that has that block confirms that?
(Gasp's in day 21 on waiting for his EK NB block to arrive!!)
We know for a fact it does not line up with the Maximus stock NB backplate.
I fiind that fact alone odd and somewhat alarming myself. I expected my stock Maximus NB backplate to still be functional.
Yes, Let's indeed verify the block designed for the Maximus SE, and that is currently in production, actually fits the Maximus SE!!
I have asked Malik to check his NB fit out....
I wish this could have been verified before mine shipped.
I can tell you now that if mine is an incorrect fit, I will be wanting another block sent speedy delivery to me in Ohio, at EK's expense.
Nothing else will do when ordering a block designed spacifically for your mobo.
I expected it to fit 100% correctly. That was one of it's main functions, and the reason I ordered the EK-NB S-MAX Acetal block to begin with.
bloody hell, that is true, it not fits !!!! I will post photos soon
look and cry, I want new fixed block for sure!!!!

The block looks to be too big.
Wow.... Disappointed.
Bracing to hear how EK is going to fix this...
Mistakes happen I guess, but more important to me is the time it will now take, to get me a proper fitting NB block delivered to my house...
BTW - Thanks for the fast pictures shim-on. Your a good man!!
I think that dimension should be less around 2mm (width and length)
Hi!
I must admit that was our fault, because we did not double check the measures that I got from User on this forum, I think It was Pete.
What I can recommend is to drill the holes holes, so it would fit. (about 1mm each hole. We will have new tops made in one week, then we will send every end customer that has already bought the block new top with new o-ring, so he can replace it.
Sorry Guys, well fix that ASAP :(
A new O-ring and top would keep me happy, but it would be nice to see if there is a way to speed up delivery to the US.
If I want to use the new gear, I'm probably looking at another month again before it would be delivered.
Just got your PM and replyed back, i'll stop drinking my coffie and cuddling my hot new missis and sort this for you now!
Eddy i only offered the measurements and i do belive i did say how i measure it, i will redo it and check it all for you. It's with a set of digital veriners as well so it wont be wrong! By the way you PM'd me asking for them too 1st time
Yeah just a tad. It could of been anything though, i got it wrong, Eddy got it wrong, drawing fault, EK not checking as he said. It takes 2 to tango they say.
Meh pulling my bord right now for you Eddy, give me 30 mins or so
Right er goes,
Bord measurments
Measuring diagonly
Acorss the NB core hole to hole like an X - 64.52mm
Going side to side
Shortest length - 35.24mm
Longest length - 55.81mm
X38 ASUS NB cooler
Measuring diagonly
Acorss the NB core hole to hole like an X - 65.18mm
Going side to side
Shortest length - 35.67mm
Longest length - 56.03mm
Make that as you will
My 2 cents is the NB back plate is the ideal thing to measure. It lines up with the mobo correctly, and has tiny holes to give you a better sence of what ASUS'es intended center spot was, for each hole.
I never expected to see Pythagoras' Theorem used on this forum
The problem here is it's almost impossible to measure the holes center to center with a digital caliper. The only way to measure them accurately is to get both the hole diameters on all corners and the distances between 2 holes (using the hole edge as a reference point).
If you try to measure from center to center, you will always get variations.
