Same here. I am finally assembling everything and am not sure what I want to do with this. I think I am leaning towards not using the copper plate, my lapped Ultra 120 Extreme should be sufficient cooling I would hope. Especially with a couple fans.Quote:

I'm now leaning on with not using the copper plate. The extra layer of copper between the cooler and the cpu would make the temperature worse versus not doing it. Well thats what I think.

i don't own the board, but that is what you'd have to do if you wanted to use the copper plate. or else there wouldn't be much point in using TIM at all.Quote:
