I knew it was old, but I figured it was newer in everyway compared to RD580. That's very surprising and actually quite strange. Luckily for me, I don't bench nor do I run dual cards. I care most about memory overclocking and performance. This board seems to be excellent in regards to memory tweaking and I look forward to playing with it, especially once the fsb limit is increased.Quote:

I am sure Gary will be benching a wide ramge of apps etc. I promised DFI we would respect Anandtech having the exclusive so I can not post benches till after their review is posted.Quote:

wow.. NDA is up.. :) 511 fsb is really promising.. :) hope 9x500 works wahahaha.. ;) i'm realy bothered with the high chipset temps and only 100 pcs... waaaaa... I'll wait for my distributor for this.. :D
thanks sir Tony :woot:
as far as i'm concerned this is the real question.
given that the asus p5b-dlx is the current fsb king for kentsfielsd -
how does the new Vcca controll affect the fsb wall characteristics of kentsfields?
ie which is the better board for getting the max from a (low multi) quad core both for fsb and for cpu clocks?
If I had a kents i would test, fact is i do notQuote:

Probably not at first. And if they do, very low quantity I'd say.Quote:
