both PCI and PCIe network chipsets are faulting on you???
hehe nah, it was a schoolboy mistake... I did a reformat on Monday and installed the old drivers when I should have installed the latest ones.:slapass:
Ah!:D
Has anyone done any vmods to this board. Getting a small amount of vdroop under load from 1.464 to 1.44. Also does anyone know where the point is on the board to accurately measure vcore and vdimm.
Using bios 0005 and seto 1.4v gives 1.46idle and 1.44 load. Set to 1.4125v and get 1.56v idle and 1.54v load. This is massive overvolting - is it just this bios, anyone else get this much?
anyone try bios 0506?
I havenīt seen a download link for 0506.Quote:

I found that My Vcore overvolts by the same ammount as yours with bios 0408, but VMCH and VDIMM both undervolt by 0.05v (1,8v VMCH = 1.75v and 2.4v VDIMM = 2.35v)
So does this fix the reboot issue?
Share it with us ;)
Well there is a entry for 506 here but no link yet. Someone send it to him?

amen.:)
Anyone else have any more experiences with this new BIOS?
I'm still using 0408 and seem to be running fairly well, just curious if I should bother with this new release...
i am not changing bios any time to soon...0408 is very good for me.
I tried 0004, 0408, 0502 and 0506 bios, all give same overclock, 0502 and 0506 undervolted, other overvolted. :)
got one of these boards today and am purring along with 0408. However, temps are considerably higher that on my p5wdh. anyone else noticed the high temp?
using the same HS and cpu that was in your P5WDH?

i wouldn't be to concern over the temp issue if you are within 10C
i have usb issues with this board too...sometimes no boot, til i unplug usb kb and mouse...wondering if the new bios will fix that...i am on 0408
