Right, runmc. Things just don't add up. This project was supposed to have been completed months ago. I've gotten The "You'll have it in a couple of days routine" since February. I've offered to pay shipping - even gave him a Pre-Paid FedEX Label initially for return shipping.

If it is done, as he's said for months, and if I will pay the shipping -- not upfront anymore cause he'll just keep the money -- What Is Up???

Now, I'm just asking for the cash I paid -- returned -- and he can keep the Vapo LS. It's at least a partial recovery.

As stated earlier, A Real Sad State Of Affairs....

I'm really tired of dealing with this but I won't give up until there is some sort of fair resolution....

And, I think what I have offered, is MORE than FAIR!!!!

I'm really sorry to bring this into a public forum but all other attempts at resolving this have failed miserably.

I have also offered him a pre paid account number. It seems we are in much the situation.

Fugger has graciously sent Reggie yet another pre-paid number. I am giving him until Friday to get it out. If the number is not activley tracking by then, I am taking it to the next step.

I have a meeting with a family member that is a prosecutor for dinner tonight. I am having her draft up an initial letter to Reggie. It will be sent on friday if the tracking number does not become active. By the way, if any of you sent your stuff using USPS it's a federal felony and US Mail fraud as well. Technically the FBI could get involved if anyone wanted to go that far.

controller was cooked, but using the on off switch it still held conroe at -45 to -50ish

erm, i just found this thread in "New Posts" and seemingly there are a lot of enraged people in here. i hope all the issues are solved.

but what i am curious about is, what paypal issue is chilly1 referring to?

The Paypal issue tends to change on a daily basis as do other things such as shipping promises, etc. So, it's hard to figure out what's really going on...I suggest you send a PM to chilly1 for clarification.

Just a brief overview, when his wife left him she got his PayPal accounts seized with the majority of the money of his customers to build and repair their units. He hasn't been able to recover but possibly 10% of it so far. Sucks ass like whoa.

I don't think your statement is totally correct. His paypal account was locked because his X-wife and well know web troll, Justin Daves, were making money transactions using Reggies account. Reggie received a check from paypal for $460 which Reggie said was 10% of what was in the account. That would equal to $4600 in his account was locked. I don't think you can call $4600 the majority.

Is my math correct Noob?

I'd think though with his parts business and selling units there'd be more than $4600 in the paypal account.

If we're only talking $4600.00, or a little more as you say, then why is this even an issue? The way I heard it from him, this alleged "Paypal issue" practically put him into bankruptcy.

I have been empathetic with his hard times for over a year now. He's said my unit has been finished since February. Since then, he has repeatedely said I'd have my unit back in a couple of days and I have gotten no satisfaction.

Really sad to be treated like this by such a "legend" in the OC'ing community.

Please refund my money and you can keep my Vapo LS (or what's left of it if you still really have it).

Well wouldn't that mean all you would have to do would be to check the serial number on the unit? That way you would know if you had a case of theft or not.
