The board looks quite nice, people are complaining about mere details.
The people have to stop moaning and wait for a good review and benchmarks.
Take a good look in the board left side, there is something we need to point out.

Why can't the warning labels say what the company really means?
"Don't :banana::banana::banana: with these pins, you will break them" sounds a lot cooler then "prone to damage"
Oh, and the board looks cool. I just don't know how I feel about the stacked SATA ports, they are not as rigid as the ones on the board, and I've seen far to many of those L-legs get snapped off by bending the SATA cable.
nice, i like the layout, making it easier to keep it clean
This DFi is nice, but active cooling on the Southbridge ? I imagine what will be on the northbridge.. noisy board !
also the back I/O look to be VERY empty...
Isn't this the second DPWM board? Wish Asus would have a 975x board with one...
Wheras the DFI Infinity 975X is cooled by a basic passive heatsink on the northbridge and a grey ceramic plate on the southbridge. Worlds apart.
Thx for the pics Metroid :) Looks like it's gonna be a nice board. But i'm gonna buy an intel chipset based board. New P5WD2-E revision or something like that :)
Er....I was originally thinking DFI LP 590....but active on SB?
I hope to god I can replace that with a passive cooler...I only have 1 jingting, and it's going on the NB.
That's really gay.
Love how people are slamming it without knowing anything about it. Your jingting comes with a fan (nevermind a weak one), who is to say this fan is any louder?Quote:

Don't give me people's bull:banana::banana::banana::banana: everyone always spews when someone says "gay". Get over it, I obviously don't mean literally (though I'm sure some boards have a tendency to like the same sexed boards....).Quote:

And I don't use my fan on the JingTing, I found it's pretty useless, it's about 4 CFM lol.
Then edit your post! And yes it's homophobic whether you meant it that way or not.Quote:

CAn the intel Badaxe take SLI as well? or just Crossfire?
It can physically support SLI however nvidia blocks SLI from running on non-nvidia chipsets. There are some hacked drivers out there however they tend to be older drivers (ie. I havn't seen any that support the 79xx/76xx/73xx series)Quote:

if there was a PCI-X slot somewhere, than I think that would be a perfect PCB layoutQuote:

isnt the 590 just as good if not better?Quote:

The DFI roadmap has
ES (Engineering Sample): June
MP (Mass Production): August
I am wondering how far along the NV590 board is, is that ES or an early production board?
I'm hoping they will shoot for availability alongside Conroe on July 23rd, that'd be awesome.
ouch, looks like the dfi is out of my list, maybe asus or nfinity 975x if out by end of this month

..........Life is a maze. Think about it.
Shouldn't some of these be out now? I checked but I can't find anything, even the ones that say available.
