Webwillis S2E runs flawless with his Cellshocks and he never used any other sticks to boot or something.
Maybe he have some other SPD on his sticks? And he use a old E6600 for the moment.
i'm totally happy with my XFX now. All runs perfect! Damn 1T setting i missed in the beginning.. :P

High FSB is possible also with Quad Cores! :D
Voltages on AUTO!!!
Guys you have to remember you can NOT set voltage in a jedec table to higher than default...the ONLY table that is able to support higher is either XMP or EPP.
EVGA have to get tRFC to bios real fast now, FCG and I tested for quite a while with the EVGA to get 8GB working well at high clocks and the board would just NOT have it...pop in the Striker and boom 1800 with P1 P2 etc all enabled and 2000 with them by Auto, with me having to leave to pack for my return trip we did not play to much at 2000(just stability tests) but i feel we could have dialed in some of that lost read performance with P1P2 by auto at 2k.
Thanks...good to know that as anything above PC3-1333 still costs a leg and an arm (or should I say, my whole head! ) to get! I went with the P5E3 Premium, though. I hope I will be happy with it as I was battling between the Asus 790i based board and P5E3 Premium.
yes :)
My S-II-E runs perfect with the Cellshock Memory:

But i use a very crappy E6600. Max FSB on X38 was 490.
At 790i is 490 too:

All Boardvoltages at minimum in Bios.
But the E6600 need more VCore @3.200 with the 790i... Or Everest reads the VCore not correctly.
still can't find the SIIE available in the states... :(
Any word on retail availability for this thing?
 :D
Tony, do you know some guide or something that explains overclocking on nVidia (790i / 780i or 680i, if it is compareable), with all things you need to know? Like straps, dividers etc.! That would be very useful to me. I'm totally new with that intel/nvidia stuff and i'm really confused by it most of the time.. :p:

Newegg is in stock. I got mine ordered. Good luck people before they run out between club it and newegg.
My EVGA 790i showed up today!
But my DDR3 is still in transit :(
if c1 consists, update your CellShock spd in another DDR3 mobo to this spd http://rapidshare.com/files/10245349..._reference.zip
http://www.techpowerup.com/spdtool/ says: SPDTool works on all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
Will this be a problem with all memory (not just cell shock) that need more than 1.5v on the initial post? I have ocz ddr3-1800 that has 1.95 volts. Will I and others have a problem with the board since it is set at 1.5v on auto?
