yesss a fellow samsung volter, i love it.
These mems scale bigtime with volts. i wonder if some cooling will help
Nice! 2v club ftw
and here i am panicking about running 1.86 on air...
Awesome run C-N:up:
2volters club:D
Wow, you guys have some bawls to push 2V through that ram! How many beers did it take to try 2V C-N? :D Someone should try cold on Sammies. 1400+ C9 possible?
Ha ha none this time it was cups of tea all the way!!
I sat down to break 6m 20 CL10 at about 9pm & by about 1:30am I had only managed to gain .350ms. I figured enough was enough let em have it dialled in CL9 & 1.99v & let’s get to bed. I gave it my best wazza & it ran sub 6m20 1st time.
I'm sure someone will show us the way with the Sammies.
hehe nice time C-N!
2volters club :ROTF:
Not as fast as i wanted but it's gettin better.

More MHz at less volts on the rams? Good job!
Awesome run C-N:up:
Everyone given up with this thread??????
Job done :D Tightened up tWL & tRTP & slackened tRFC then gave them more juice but in all honesty I think it was just a better run rather than the timings/voltage tweaking... Anyway I'm happy to get into the 18's

nice time Aristidis
Insane run Aristidis!
Thanks a lot guys :) It was a good run, but we didn't have more LN2 to try even harder and push for 1st place. BBSE are awesome :p:
if you have the right one, of course :D
nice runs aristidis and c-n :)
After we got this heroic run with aristidis :D, we took a screenshot - what a thril that was :D Amazing run

Limit of cpu 1354 fails immediately even 8-12-8 XD my luck with 3770k is so garbage ...will try a new one tomorrow. Board is efficient as hell.
Glad to see this thread so lively again:)
Here's a full video of the 6m16.579s run too :D

Epic music guys!

Been playing with this today...... will have to test some older BIOS's as I couldn't get 2933 to run properly for some reason!!! Maybe my poor little chip has had enough :D
Looks like anyone with a decent IMC that can run 2933+ would be in business.
http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m...A646M19375.png
Beastly Imc man. This on air?
Its better than most I have seen but you always want more!!! I've seen Dumo post a 3000 32m run over in the Gskill 2800 thread & would love to see someone run a tight 3000 in this thread.
The chip is on the Antec Kuhler 620 in my sig & the RAM is using the GSkill fan I got with my BBSE.
chance of good frequency chip over 6.9ghz 1%
chance of good IMC 3100mhz+ 1%
chance of getting both on the same chip -10000000000923%
frustration level over 9000
I Have 2 binned imc chip' one 3300 and one 3260
Non of them can pass 5.0ghz cpu ( air , ln2 ) when ram is tight timings i have reboot on one cpu and imc error on other one when run 32m
When loose timing i can do easy 5ghz cpu and +3000 mem ( air, ln2 ) but just need touch each of secondary or third timings same problem like before.
Not easy find a cou can do all , i have psc here can pass 32m at 2760 7-11-7 with ultra tight sec, third timings, but no cpu to match with them, also got +2600 cl6 bbse too.
No not chips but memory :D
:wasntme: nice but only that bbse's 2600+ cas 6 nothing more :D
I just wanted to add my overclock the mix. I did not mess with ram timmings as I don't really know what I'm doing with ram. But this is what I can do.

Windows 7 64 bit.
I know that contest already ended but as lately I've been tuning my system for pi32m and used as reference values for this thread!!
So mi score is full air with asrocket! I think i can improve a little more...

^^ Awesome run with bbse there Billy:up:
that's a great run
Would be interesting to know which mems on which voltage were used... maybe I know the kit
Good to see they are still alive and do their job :D
Needs some work. Having a hard time getting higher memory clocks and it won't boot with anything over 1.82v set in bios.

Can someone tell me how much is the difference between 3570K and 3770K at identical clocks? thanks.

Attachment 131006You liked that buddy ? How about this :D ?
6M 18.750 @full air
2800 9-12-12-21-1T,Corsair dominator 2666 sammy@1.9V. Cpu is a :banana::banana::banana::banana:hole,very hard to maintain stability@5ghz,pretty good&tight imc though.There is room for improvement,maybe 1s i guess,very hard to estimate when you get a reset once every 2 runs... :mad:
Anyone tried samsung@sub-zero,do they scale with temperature?
Yes,it had bad imc, only 2722 and very unstable.
Good looking i7 , awesome run Alex
@Alex-Ro
very good run
how much secs you cut with waza?
As gungstar, i would like to know which score do u have with no waza, for sub 6,20min .
Thnaks guys
I did not test without wazza,i always use wazza. As i said, there is room for improvement i guess 17 s is doable,i'm waiting for cold to arrive, cpu more stable in cold air @5ghz and more fun :)
Ok thanks! Could u run a simple test with no wazza plz? Will help me a lot to understand my os efficency :)
Thansk a lot
Alex

first time I play with Ivy and 2x4GB RAM, still have to learn how to tweak the system properly.
p.s. Asus, we need more VDIMM, 1.92 volt limit is ridiculous...
You think they would scale abouve 1.92?Thank you for the screenshot,it seems like trwsr and trwdr are IMC related,i cannot run 4 on these as it give me not exact in round.
Very nice results here guys:)will join you soon...how much is 3770K more effective then 3570K? I saw C-N results and they are great with 3570K
BBSE time

still not efficient for the clocks, need a better CW
Nice one! :)
nice run loud :)
ok so a new run with the exact same settings, just tweaked cw (657, 32, CDT) and no ram disk yet, working on that atm
http://i.imgur.com/aEX5o.png
I will also try a manual cw and see if that is any faster than OCX spi tweaker.
This is getting really fun now:D
Manual is always faster if u find the right cw for ur system.
Good to know so just a 2.5Gb rar file c>d with ramdisk
or
2.5Gb c>d d>c?
Setup eram and found this: http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/373...0003xa5mt1.jpg
for cw with eram do you go from ramdisk to c one time? or just c to d while ramdisk is running on Z?
