At FSB 448 with BIOS 12 I got better SuperPI 1M performance (12.451), than the 13A at 458, with same memory timings.
Max FSB with 12: 448Mhz, 13A: 458Mhz, 13B: 451Mhz

And i can use 4:5 ram ratio with ram speed 438 or lower after that it's fail fail fail, 1:1 works luckily and i can use tighter timings :) did a quick try with 8x400 and result was: FREEZE but i was using 4:5...now started little bit lower and atm orthos is running 9x385 and ram is 1:1. i'm pretty sure i can't hit 4ghz with this cpu without much higher vcore so now my goal is to at least get my ram speed where it should be and that is 450mhz and that's only stock speed these sticks should do 500mhz with no problem.(wow long post..)
oh yeah what was the speed range where ppl had problems, 395-410 or something?
I have exactly the same situation. Easy until 3.4GHz, hungry after 3.5GHz. Orthos stability comes with VCore way up while Vmch increase doesn't help so much.Quote:

I got this with 1.88v vMCH and and some 12cm fan doing about 4000rpm pointing straight at the NB. I took off the little max plate off the heatsinks, no doubt this improves airflow.
I gotta say this board rocks, I have had zero problems with it so far. Having said that, My 6400 can go higher, but I will wait for a RD600 board :D

No way, can't get it stable. Additional fans are on the NB, won't helpt to reach higher FSB. I can test if it is useful to put water on the NB. But I don't think so. Sorry, but I'm fed up with this board. I bought it because I thought it is the best board for my E6600, but now I have to look for an Asus (cold boot issue :( and no mounting holes on the NB, but I hope, I can use the stock fan).

well.... 24 hours later and i'm still fighting with this board...
so far i've been able to do 7 hours orthos blend at 10 x 365 with the 4:5 ratio
1.45 vcore
2.20 vdimm
1.70 vmch
i was also able to do small fft 9 x 412 1:1 or ~3708 for 7 hours as well
1.50 vcore
2.20 vdimm
1.75 vmch
i tried doing blend with these settings and i errored out w/in 5 minutes.
i've determined orthos/dual prime to fail at either 3 minutes, 5 minutes or 10 minutes.
anyone else notice that instance of prime/orthos does about 3 iterations before the other instance does the 2nd one?
maybe it's just my board.
i've also played with moving the mem around the slots.
i was using the blue - blue configuration but whenever orthos/prime would fail, i'd get a blue screen
then i tried blue-black configuration and it'd get an error instead of blue screening.
tried black-black and got the same thing (error rather than blue screen).
so after 24 hours, 10 x 365 4:5 is as stable as this board will get.
All 79050GX2 cards will give you the same. The other 8x is used "inside" the card to link the 2 GPUs. The "thing" connecting the 2 cards is a PCIex bridge (8x).Quote:

Why do you think my CPU is walling? It's running great: 3,8 GHz @ 1,55V-1,57V tested for 3 hours orthos small ftt. So I don't think my CPU is walling, it's the board. Also 3,6 GHz @ 1,5V are 6,5 h orthos small ftt stable. How can I find out if my cpu is blocking?Quote:
