Whoa... i had just PMed you, now i see the proof! Thanks.
From what i've seen of Newegg's prices they won't be meeting or beating any prices... especially with the damn CA tax and not-free shipping.
ZZF maybe but its been listed as backorder for a while...
if you cant wait till Monday when ZZF releases E6600's for $339 and Newegg to maybe match or beat that price then you need therapy
BE PATIENT!
How is intel making money off of this? They are selling to dist a a locked price.. Its the retailers who are raising the price and making more $$.. Not Intel.Quote:

I can tell you right now that the retail price for an E6600 isn't going to be below $339 anywhere and you will be lucky to see ZZF at that price when they show in stock. The price will likely go up as soon as people start to order because everyone is going to hit them hard since that will be the lowest price point on the E6600. ClubIT also had them for $339 and i ordered one so it should ship Monday. Newegg will likely price quite a bit higher then $339 simply because all they have to do is show it in stock and slap whatever price they want on it and people will buy because it's Newegg.Quote:

Fry's Electronics pricing for the Fremont one (not sure if it's going to be same for all others is)
E6400 $299.99
E6300 $229.99
Bundle of Intel 975BX + E6400 $499.99
The store received them on Friday, 8/4/06 but will not sell until Monday 8/7/06
I ordered a C2D (E6400) like 2 days ago from ClubIT and it has already left california. :stick:Quote:

I ordered a 6700 OEM from ClubIT (since it was in stock, showed 34 left when I ordered real early yesterday) with overnight shipping and it's already halfway across the country according to FedEx's tracking number. Unfortunately, it won't be here until monday though. They still have 14 left last I checked a couple minutes ago.Quote:

clubit has had the e6400s in stock all week, and they've been shipping all week. They don't take orders unless they have it in stock. I'll remember them for future purchases, as everything went smoothly. Then even delivered without requiring a signature as I requested. Here's the tracking info for my E6400 retail box I ordered...

I noticed they raised the price $20 from where I bought it. I don't think you'll be seeing E6600 processors for $319 shipped like some here seem to think. :)
The only got the 6300 and the 6400.Quote:

A 965 board and the E6400 may be the thing to own if you are looking for bang for your buck. They are OCing like mad and often passing up E6600s and E6700s. (On air)Quote:

The fact that you quoted me led me to believe that your post was directed to/at me. I just want to make it clear that what I said was pure sarcasm and that I don't believe that Intel is deliberately delaying availability of any C2Ds.Quote:

I was impatient to get one so I paid $250 from ClubIT and had to wait until 8/5 for it to ship. I'm thrilled to get a dual core CPU for less than half of what AMD was charging for similar performance and less OC potential just a few weeks ago. I'm not complaining that I had to wait a few extra days for it.
there's PLENTY of supply.
Just noones allowed to SELL it yet.
Way to take my utterly sarcastic post entirely out of context. Had you read my previous post and the post to I was replying, you would have understood that we are in agreement on this issue.Quote:

ZipZoomFly has the E6300 in-stock and shipping. They took away the *pre-order shipping on monday* thing. Since it is the weekend and the only day they ship is on Monday-Friday anyways. Better get yours now before they get sold-out. only $219!
Agree. Yeah if you think about it, If you were a retailer and selling unauthorized prior to Aug 7th (with a demand to supply advantage artifically induced by intels mandate) would you sell cheaply? Hell no, they are breaking a rule with clear knowledge they have an edge against other retailers who are not breaking Intel's decree. Of course they will charge extra. Haha.Quote:

We'll see on Monday. Any store who is able to buy direct from Intel may have a bunch, but anyone who is stuck buying from *any* of the distributors won't. Not one single distributor has any of these in stock, in any warehouse :(Quote:

Now this is funny shyt, there's plenty of good choices today...Quote:

Their base of operations is in CA though. I wouldn't count on anything until 8:00 AM West Coast time.Quote:

newegg told me tuesday today in chat, but is that when they get them, or when they will sell them?
No idea about ZZF
Will the 380W PSU in my Antec SONATA II be enough for this rig:
Processor: Intel E6400 (2.18GHz) Dual-Core (I'll probably OC it to 3.5~GHz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte DS3 Socket P965 (onboard 8 channel audio? Sweet. 6 SATA connectors? Sweet.)
Video Card: eVGA 7900GT or 7600GT, haven't decided yet
RAM: Corsair 2x1GB (2GB) DDR2-800 PC6400 SDRAM
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATAII (3GB/s) HD
???
I ordered a retail e6700 on 7/27. ClubIT said it was in stock, but could not be shipped until the 7th due to Intel's rules. They maintained this story up until Friday the 4th. On Friday, I got a phone call from them saying that they only received OEM e6700s from Intel and that retail e6700s have been delayed. They won't be shipping me anything on Monday. So obviously, they never actually had the retail e6700 in stock despite what they said on the phone and on their website.Quote:

I don't currently have the money for an addition PSU, so can I just use the base 380W without overclocking anything and using a 7600GT (or 7900GT)?
an antec 380 should be ok without overclocking on the 7600, the 7900gt would realy be pushing it, thouhg with only 1 hard drive you might be ok.
Here we go again, I went to BLT and now they have the E6600s coming in 8/16...LOL Please, make it stop.
ShopBLT
nicepun I wouldn't worry about that (they say that is for their new orders and that they may have other ones in before). We should have a pretty good idea whats goingon in either 8 minutes, 188 minutes, or 12 hours
im already starting to lose my passion for pc'sQuote:

the p5w dh works with the gx2 (at least others hear have said it does)
I'm tired... think anyone will put any up soon or should I hit the sack and check in the morning?
Im not risking it.
at this point I wouldn't bet on anything before 3:00 AM, and even that would take some luck (starting to seriously consider an 805 while I wait)
I'm starting to consider sticking with AMD, this is f-ing ridiculous
Edit: wait, it says "The system does not show earlier ETA's which are still valid," so those of us that preordered a while ago might be OK.
Haha I was considering AMD for a while too, but I thought that if I waited this long, no use to turn back and go AMD. :(Quote:

Thanks ClubIT
6300 and 6400 arent that hard to find now, 6600/6700 dont seem to be anywhere outside of oem (and not that easy to find the oem ones either)
Im gonna cry if I stay up till 3 and newegg isnt selling e6600s and has enough for me to get one.
nothing as of 1:15 =( I placed an order with shopblt and tankguys in like
mid july lol. but I dont want to wait for phantom shipping dates and end up getting it in september. heres to hoping newegg puts them up at 2am CST
Newegg doesn't work at midnight
I'm sure its an automated system that they use.
ClubIT went OOS on E6700. It was In Stock when i ordered on Saturday morning so they are bein ordered up quickly. Hopefully my 6700 ships Monday or Tuesday.
I'm hoping that system kicks-in in about 17 minutes.Quote:

Outpost.com (Fry's) shows only pre-order for e6600 with Ship on 8/14/06.

Outpost.com Frys are in stock of E6300 Tray version (OEM I assume)
In stock, same day shipping
ewiz has a e6300 OEM for $205 if you use froogle (although for some reason if I bypass froggle and go directly to their store it costs more)
should had grab one when they were 242 with shipping :(Quote:
