I don't see how I can mount the pump sideways. I guess I'd just have to let the tubes hold it in place and not actually screw it to the case.

WOW:slobber: Sweet system. This is the predecessor to the CM Praectorian right? I though it only had a single 80mm exhaust. Anyways amazing rig!Quote:

It's a rad ;) from Watercool.de
Yes, this is the Praetorian predcessor and the Mobo tray is from a Praetorian 732 -> two 80mm fans
It fits!?Quote:

Sweet! Nice observation. BTW it's 2X 92mm fans.

If that is the case, then it is bad. It looked like he was using a D5? [EDIT: nevermind, its a 655, not a 355. i was unaware of the way that pump operates] Mine (with Petras top) pulls from the top and shoots out from the side....Quote:

That rig isn't exactly silent and the fans run with only 5V - so the fans aren't louder than the other parts.Quote:

EDIT: just took a look at Watercool.de. Typical German rad it is. Condenser all the way. I would have loved if there was a heater core style rad that big in full copper.
Omg That Case Is Badassssss!
jesus christ anarchy that's insane :). Have you looked into a larger fan with a shroud? Hell for something that size, you might be able to look for car radiator fan+shroud units to put on. Then again, the fan would probably eat lots of amps, although it would run at 12v. It'd be hella loud though, I'd guess. Maybe with a rheobus or something to it, it'd tame it down to some really low rpm, be pretty inaudible, and still push lots of air, compared to 9 yates at 5v
this is my system... =) its really simple!

Running
I still need to install the lights and run the fan wires the right way. Then finish up the cable management and she will be ready to go.
James,
Beautiful. Just beautiful! One point deducted for not having SLI and using onboard sound :D
I am not finished yet. SLI - probably not. N needs to get some good drives out. I am having a lot of 3d graphic issues with one card. ONBOARD SOUND - Just long enough for me to get this system running great and then I will install my sound card.Quote:

Thanks for the heads-up :) BTW, I see you're using Monster Cable. Which one do you recommend? I don't want $600 worth of cabels, and am not an audiophile. I don't want to spen that much $$$.Quote:

How are the HDD carriers like? I have never seen the bottom bay of a Horizon. I know you installed a dual rad at the back, as I expected, but where do you mount the HDDs ?
The front is like that on the horizon. I'm also very interested in seeing the inside/bottom layout of the Horizon.
im using Monster Navajo White cables.. chould cost US$20+ i think..Quote:
