Yes by a few deg if actively cooled, for passive cooling it beats all heatsinks by a huge margin.
But if your space is limited the VF1000 is the only choice if you want active cooling.

I can say that Accelero S1 is well paired with HR-03 in performance
Hey guys just wanted to share with you what ive recently done with my old Lian Li case..

Both holes cut where cut with a dremel then sanded down for a smoother finish, I then got hold of some rubber window edging from work and placed that around the rough cuts for a better finish.

I also removed the support bracket that originally looked like an X-shape that was slightly obstructing airflow. Now removed with the dremel it makes the hole look a bit more cleaner. Sorry I didnt get a before and after pic of this.

Also now a hole has been cut for the PSU cables to be fed through to the back of the mobo tray to aid cable management.

With the edging..
That's pretty much it, its not much, and it was my first attempt at cutting a drilling into a computer case and I thought it has turned out really well.
Thanks taylor for the helpful assistance and the use of your dremel :P <3
peace out.
nice job haggard
Dont forget to take pics with your system up & running after the cabble management!
@HaGGaRd: are those top fans intakes or exhausts?

Intakes :p: :p:
Hey man, well I got hold of mine at a caravan center :P, try finding a place similar, or go to a DIY store that sells windows and try asking for some rubber window edging, should cost you less than a dollar per metre! (Cost me 69p per metre) It works great for me.
Let me know if you ever get hold of any.
Brian, your Antec 900 has ventilation holes and not the 2 rubber inlets for water cooling tubes? :o

nice work haggard...
Further upgraded my cooling with more sexy Thermalright stuff.
After my HR-03 plus I bought a TRUE 120. On this i installed a Scythe s-flex fan @1600RPM. This morning I remounted the cooler with the well known washer mod, removed my old tuniq tower backplate
( I couldn't get them off without good pliers), and installed a second s-flex. Also installed the low version of the HR-07 for my memory to pimp it up :P.
I must say i really like the result, also temps of CPU went down another 6 degrees celsius.

Let me know what you think.
check your trade pluming or electrical store for edging & heatshrink .... these things were being used in these industries well before it entered the PC market
I have enough of that laying around, just dont have the right tool to disconnect the cables from the pci-e connectors. If you tell me how to do that I'll put some heatshrinks on it right away.
The incredible shots of Tommy strike again :D
Very nice rig, even if I am not a fan of TR ;)
Hey Tommy.
How are you liking Noctua?
Very nice cooler, excellent quality and good performance :)
Tommy, About how much temp drop do you get from that VGA backside cooler?
