These AM2 chips really love lowish voltages, it's a pity because decent scaling would put K8 at about 5GHz :D

All brisbanes have a wall at 15-16c or something... the kind of wall you'll find on Intel CPUs, they just don't work below that temp:p: I hate it too, the key is to use a pot that has little mass so the temp changes more rapidly - then the waiting is not so long. SS is quite hard, but tro to fasten it on only one side, and use the other one for temp adjustments;) That's what I did when i used my phase unit.Quote:

Same thing to me. Most of my Brisbanes shut down if the cold bug was found. The PC do not freeze --> it shuts absolutely down :D
