Awe man, what is this!?
I decide i'm gonna start a V350 project and within the week three show up out of no-where. :(
nhenhophach; i'm not sure what i think of that Zalman block, but very nice pics none-the-less!
Ohh you painted the Arctic ram coolers to match the white theme. Never nice.
I quite like it actually. What would happen if one would paint the NB cooler?
@nhenhophach
that looks nice. must be the missing brother of my own v350. :D
@mcp
i canīt see those pics often enough. white AC ram coolers forever. ;)

@Tremeloes: did the paint job on the AC RAM Coolers affect the performance?
They are icy cold now ;).

Thought I might as well post some pictures of my rig. I would just like to point out that this is a sort of simplified build log. It starts with my original build that was air cooled and morphs into the water cooled rig I have now...

nice clean rig at the end of the novel mick :P
Fantastic job Mick64, love it
Nice looking mcp, as previously asked, any temperature changes? I'd like to do something similar to my NB or something.
I can't scale the temperature of the ram because I don't have any possibility to get the temperatures.

Not a fan of the black lines on the tubes, but still nice job!
that is sweet looking jiggy
Might want to cool the ram on the backside of that card before they fry.
Ram is ram. I don't care what some people do but when you stress it [com'on everyone oc's their 260] it will get hot.
PS : I also heard that the 4870 runs cool but hey some people are just plain weird.
Hope yall like it, it's the 3rd revision, enjoy!

Indeed, black cases turn me on.
Hi All
Thought I would post some pics of my first effort at watercooling, inspired by much reading of Xtreme Systems forums and based on the CM Cosmos S RC1100 case, which I just LOVE :D
Please check out the pics here, thanks.

the dye was meant to be UV reactive but maybe i need to add more :p:
the cathodes were there before when i had my green UV watercooling setup. I really want it to be super reactive but the cathodes dont seem to cut it

The wallhanger external rad. :up:That's right up my alley...(heads to shop)
Beware, what you are about to see is not up to this thread standards.
Here is my cheap ghetoish system.
I wanted everything small, portable and compact for lan parties. so I Built a double 240 radiator Radbox inside a regular atx case!
Here is the rad box. Completely isolated from the rest of the case.
On the right side is the 1st 240 radiator. Fans pushing fresh air from the outside.
http://i34.tinypic.com/351enip.jpg
Here is my 2nd 240 radiator. Fans also pushing fresh air from the outside. You can see the exhaust of the radbox on the left side of the case. All hot air from the rads goes out through there.
http://i37.tinypic.com/10nxfdl.jpg
Here's a closeup to the rad box exhaust and insides
http://i35.tinypic.com/2by32t.jpg
http://i35.tinypic.com/23mkn68.jpg
Here's the rest of the loop. Notice how the hd4870 bends from the EK block weight. I can't get good contact. My memio is 15c higher.
http://i38.tinypic.com/2rr9mbq.jpg
finally, the box closed with the proper case cuts to ventilate the internal radbox.

wow im so impressed by what ive seen on some of these pictures, good job :)
Extremely aesthetically pleasing build Blackhouse. Is that the XPSC aluminium reservoir in Black? They will certainly flay you for that here lol.
|Oc|REvO_HsArC, your rig is beautiful, simply beautiful. I love people like you (no manlove).
Blackhouse, yours isn't bad either. :p:
love the rig, blackhouse:up:
that finned reservoir looks sweet! (looks like it should be under the hood of a sportscar:D)
Those are some damn good photos!!!

aspms* may I know what coolant you are using?
The Nickelgang :D
http://www.abload.de/img/img_3885nni.jpg
I have one Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 in front blowing straight on pump so no worries about heat! ;) And I have made similar wc loops for my friends with exact the same insulation for pump and there are no problems at all- one of those pumps is currently running for more than a year now! :yepp: And it
absorbs all the noises and vibrations very well!
I don't know original manufacturer- it came with aquatuning.de label but AFAIK they don't produce stuff like that by themselves! It's listed here: http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...LLOW-50ml.html
Actually in real life this coolant and my whole rig looks more dark and better in my opinion than in my photos, I just cant set right settings for my camera to make good photos! :p:
Hey guys
I put the 8800GTX in the loop, the Q6600 temps where not hurt at all and the 8800GTX with 1,5vgpu went up stable 3dmark06 loops and vantage at 702 /1836/1053...at 47C IDLE / 54C LOAD with 23C ambient, i had 52C IDLE / 69C stock clocks (575/1350/1800) with air stock cooled :)

The fans at the front are custom UV LED Zalmans, I swapped the stock red LED's out. Switch on the left is power switch + power LED, switch on the right is reset switch + HDD activity LED.
Great custom case!! - looks fantastic!
What sort of temps are you seeing with the EK 4870x2 block??
Ummm can I have it :D
kthnx <3
24C IDLE at the moment
31C LOAD last night according to CCC
Not bad considering the pump is on 2 (of 5) and I'm cooling CPU & Chipset as well.. CPU @ 4.05GHz 1.3V
My only regret is that the EK product page for the block says fittings included, I selected 1/2" from the drop-down menu when I ordered but none arrived. Eddy tells me they added it to the site without fittings (but I managed to select them when ordering?!) so he basically says too bad so sad, unfortunately the last EK product I can purchase from a moral perspective if they have that attitude.
Hmmm if the price were right perhaps :yepp: but probably impractical, it is a very big case.
I was saying it in jest :p:.
some very nice stuff!
OT: can anyone verify that the ek 4870 blocks are single slot?
These look just like my HD3870X2 blocks and I am able to use the slots beside the cards if that is what you mean. For instance I have a Soundcard in a PCI slot directly beside the graphics card on the acylic (thickest) side.
Heres my LC rev1 , hope you like it ;)
