The problem is the same.Pictures in the game just stops but no BSOD and I have to reset the computer. This happens after 15min, but only in the game BBC2. In other games, everything is ok ( Dead Space2,...). Any idea what could be wrong?

change v-card driver
but try settin ioh to 1.26v first

p.s you should have your specs in your sig so it would be easier to help

I have the latest driver for video card 266.58. This can be a problem for graphic drivers?

cause its doing it with only 1 game

Uncore - 2634(18X) this is at least.

LinX after two minutes shows error with these settings!
I do not know why it does not work prim95?

Normally I would not ask many questions when it comes to hardware but this one has got me completely stumped. Basically, I got a new i7 970 a couple days ago and installed it on my EVGA E759 Classified (this is the limited edition board with NF200 chip) running the latest BIOS 77. I've even done multiple CMOS resets followed by setting the appropriate settings, ensuring that I am using the stock multiplier of 24x, etc., with no success.

I'm completely at odds what to do at this point :shrug:

Any help you can provide I would appreciate! This is stopping me from using the chip to the full potential and I do not know what to do :(

have you figured this out?i just got a 970 and my E760 does the same,no x25 yet?

so far the new 970 is great,doing 21x215@4500 HT on w/1.36v prime 95 stable
linx will need 1.37v i think

I wonder what's the difference between the 970 and a 980x in the eyes of the board? My e762 runs fine with the 980x, but with a 920, it won't run any ram at 2000Mhz, even at loose timings. Its been driving me insane. Using bios 78.

@mk-ultra: not that I am blaming the board. I just find it interesting as that 920 works on other boards running 2000mhz ram. Even my e759 runs it better.

980x has a stronger imc;)
759 not as good as the 760;) the nfore chip makes it hotter n higher latency
and when you have newer bioses gotta change some settings in ram to run the same;)

@zsamz: well, I did try. It just won't boot when the memory is running 2000Mhz or greater. All is good though. I dun plan in trying hard to find out what the problem is. I just used that 920 to flash to the 78 bios and thought of giving it a whirl before putting the 980x in. :)

i use bios 64
i can run 12gb upto 2060mhz
