So you would disagree? What would you put as the "safe limit" for 24/7? I had thought 1.4, but maybe 1.5? Even as you said above, 1.6?
Northbridge I shouldn't need higher than 1.35 or so at the most should I? Only running 400mhz FSB and relaxed timings so far.

You're saying put all 3 at 70%? I guess it's probably not going to be so easy as "here's the best numbers for that CPU" as all CPU's are a little different, but is there a pretty consistently good setup for Q6600's in general?
I do have a backplate, so don't think the board has flexed much. As for a fan. I'll have to pick one up next time I can. In the short term should I be fine though? I've heard 120c - 160c max, so they must be able to take temps without much issue no?
Thanks for the info. I've always felt very close to achieving 3600 mhz on this board with this chip, but I always get frustratingly close and give up.
Hopefully I can just get it this try :D
